This was great. Thanks. I have used peroxide in the past. Aeration will not help a massive bloom, Well its never helped me. We had a very mild winter and spring just started with toooooo much algae. I just did a peroxide treatment and shut off my filter this time. Usually i just leave it circulate and add a cotton batting pad to the front of the water inlet. I'll see how it is in the morning. Thanks for application rates for preventative. I have not been able to find that anywhere.

Thank you so much for this VDO. My lined pond is about 7,000 gallons - filtration system and waterfall - I have ducks geese & tilapia fish. I cannot grow any plants either in the pond or around it - the ducks and geese eat them all instantly. The water is the color of pea soup. I cannot see neither the fish nor the bottom of the pond. I have added some beneficial bacteria to the pond but hasn't made a difference in water clarity. If I add Hydrogen Peroxide, will it kill all the beneficial bacteria?

I have a mild algae problem and after trying algaecide and bale extract the problem remains. Pond contains approximately 550 gallons of water,it has an adequate pump to circulate the water through a waterfall, a biological filter, 4 small koi, 4 goldfish and a few water plants (planning to add more). I suspect the small pieces of moss I used to cover the liner that have fallen into the water are supplying nutrients for algae. I watched your video but at the time I had no access to 35% oxygen peroxide so I used 3% normally found at pharmacy at the rate just below the 1/2 cup per each 100 gallons and watched for about an hour but didn't see any bubbling nor improvements in water clarity. Just the other day I checked for nitrite, nitrate and ph levels and they all checked out.What's your take on my situation? Thanks

How to use hydrogen peroxide for algae in my waterlily tub? Its 40 litres tub. And what should be the maintenance dose and duration? I don't have fish in my tub. Only waterlily plants. Much Thanks

Why not aeration....accomplish the same thing....but no downside, or risk.
