I don't get people hating on this hook. Is it stupid? Yeah, it's supposed to be light and poppy because this song is supposed to be fun. Dark songs have their place, but you don't need to write "Dance With The Devil" to be a good artist. Plus, it fit the 80s theme perfectly.

For an underground hip hop artist, it doesn't get much better than this track and video. Still banging this sh*t 9 years later. The 80s references, the tribute to Guru, the insane amount of cameos including Sadat X, Dinco D, J-Zone, etc. - it's just FANTASTIC.

R.A. The Rugged man is the realest artist in music. Very few people can live a life like his and come out the other side so humble with true love and respect for the real people no matter how big, or small; young, or old; near, far. I am always seeing him post how amazing it feels for other artists to be spreading his videos and music through social media. You get back what you put out and I think its only the beginning. It surprises me more people don't know who R.A. is because ever since I heard of him I tell anyone that I can about him. He is one, if not, THE best emcee in mind, body and soul that helps bring attention and remind us where the music came from and why its important that we don't forget that. One of the few who can lead by example and does what he says, R.A. deserves all he has coming to him and more. He is definitely an inspiration. What this new video shows us about him as an artist and the embodiment of hip hop really is all that needs to be said. Just check how much this single album has done to other artists as far as giving them a rude awakening and leaving them awe-struck.

nah, you're the one missing out. i'm over here enjoying all types of music while you're limiting yourself to only certain styles. i try not to decide whether or not i like music based on who else listens to it. i rather listen to music based on whether or not it is good. lil wayne has some really great shit. i used to be on the "hate lil wayne" bandwagon when i was a teenager. took a couple of older friends of mine to show me his good stuff and that he wasn't all commercial pop bullshit.

i didn't say you DON'T listen to all styles of music, but you clearly ARE limiting yourself to certain styles if you go around asking how people can listen to one style of rap while this other style of rap is out there. THAT is limiting. and not only that, it's a pretty elitist mindstate. as for the "bandwagon" comment, it was a reaction to your comment. i know far too many teenagers who make comments like yours who only listen to "real hip-hop" and hate stuff like lil wayne and drake. they have no idea what "real hip-hop" is and try to argue that stuff like drake or lil wayne doesn't count when it's really just a type of rap they don't enjoy.
