Not sure why so many people think Jun doesn't look happy or surprised about it, you can definitely see his eyes light up in reaction to everything! It's so cute! I giggled when he even asked permission to eat the banana bread which was a gift just for him XD

They've talked before about how Jun--and many other Japanese men--don't really convey much emotion in their voices and are generally pretty monotone. I can totally tell he was really happy though!

Rachel said she hates ceremonies and didn't want one. I had one and hated it. Still happily married 11 years later. Marriage ceremonies are often more about the wants of the guests and families then it is about the couple.

I’m Japanese so I can tell what his emotions by his words in Japanese and his eyes. He looks so happy especially the banana bread😂 some Japanese people don't look surprised well but It's just that they don't show their feelings properly especially gentleman and elderly people. (Please remember all Japanese doesn't necessarily do same reaction. I often cry and scream in front of many people...) I think it's one of the good points of Japan. Sorry this is just my personal opinion besides a Japanese high school student:）Pardon my broken English...

merlinnnno true dat. I agree with you. Someone made me Believe in that kind of stuff at some point. True love, it was written on the stars, etc etc. I got carried away and started believing that. Future was looking so bright! Today I’m back to my old self and she is married and having a kid with someone else. So I guess the stars where things were written on, went out after all. Though I don’t regret it. It was the best time of my life.

My boyfriend is the same way with twist endings in movies! I can't tell if he really is that good at picking up foreshadowing or if he's lying. The only time he was ever surprised was when we watched the series Broadchurch. When they showed who the killer was he said "wow, I didn't expect that" and I was like "WHAT!? Something finally surprised you?"

Nice tip if you make banana bread again use browning/over ripe bananas they are extra sweet and it brings out the flavor more, plus they are easier to mush. My grandma has a really great recipe for banana bread she makes it and oml 😍

if somebody thinks Jun doesn't have emotion, it's not true. and you don't need to be sad rachel.(you looks a bit sad during 2:54)he's not good at expressing his mind. i know that and i would make same reaction to surprising stuff cuz i'm hundred percent japanese guy too. probably he so appreciate about that present and he's trying to tell such feeling using some words like “ohh how did you make it??” lol. his words are not cool but i'm sure that he's really happy.

Yeah, it's not like he didn't surprise, someone like Jun that not expressive sometimes can't really show his happiness. I am also like Jun, people think that I am not happy, uncomfortable, etc, but the truth was otherwise.

I am lot worse than Jun is.He expressive to me.Not matter what, I pretty much have the same reaction and that is responding with either "ok" if something bad happens or "ok, thank you" when someone gives me something.It could be hearing about someone dying or someone giving me something I really wanted for a long time.On the inside, I could be really sad or exited but somehow unable to express that.

he probs only went through the purse because it had the bags and was curious over it. its not about bravery, its about respecting someones belongings and asking them to see it. or maybe with rachel, also trusting them enough to see it.
