I always enjoy the stories and tales that some of these old racers and engine builds have to say ----- We're getting up there and it will just be old History ---- that maybe their sons or daughters may tell of their dad's ------ Tricks they used ----- as Ed pointed out ---- the tall grass and the wave of a hand made a Racer a WINNER! ----- Funny ---- Wonder if the mower was Ported and Polished --- Bored and Stroked ----- Make sure to tell Ed that I/WE enjoy hearing his stories ----- the ----WAY ---- it use to be and to tell him --- Thank you for the explaining the V-12 build for the Zephyr of JB's. --------and Thank You for bringing us this coverage ----- Hope You and Ed have a Good Week ------- Does the mower have a Glass Pack ---------- Rodney

I grew up helping my neighbor on his cars, followed him from drag racing to dirt track and I fell in love with the dirt track years! I still miss drilling rivets and pounding sheetmetal back flat and riveting it back on after a tuff night of door to door racing! A few times we didn’t think we were gonna make it to the track for the Saturday night race because we were destroyed from Friday night but we managed to squeak in and get the car off the trailer and lined up in time for hot laps, a few times as our class was rolling out on the track 😂😂

My uncle is jeb allen (praying mantis)(english leather), ill never forget he had a 426 hemi on a stand at the front of his car hauler...he showed me how many times theblock had been welded...so i asked him .. "Why keep an engine that had blown up and repaired so many times"? He said it was the fastest of all 3 engines
