Yep. I remember a few years back when quite literally everyone was calling them out on it because Jimin himself actually asked him to "please stop" because it was "creepy and disturbing". All of his plastic surgeries weren't ever in the effort of becoming Korean. It was all because he wanted to replicate his look and had to fall back on something else when he was obviously exposed.

I LOVE Dorian's use of satire. I had the wonderful opportunity to see them live on tour. They are just such a funny person in general. When I went to the bathroom at the venue and saw the "species neutral" signs I burst out laughing. Just wait until conservatives see Dorian's "My Agenda" music video they'll lose their minds.

I literally had to explain someone in my country, that litter boxes in US classrooms are not for cat identifying kids, cause they fell hard for that dumb shit and assumed it was 100% true. Guess he would also not see the satire in this, if it punched him in his face... Also the 80s catgirl hair plus all the other stuff reminded me of some visual kei bands from Japan that I was into in the 2000s. Back then I hadn't any idea how queer af I am, but the signs have always been there.

@@MovieEggman Transitioning doesn't allow race changes so i wouldn't call it transitioningand thus no detransitioning. At most i would say detransitioner would apply if he did stuff to affirm the non-binary gender, but like... doesn't seem to be so??? He was pretty much a race poser

For the tail thing 🤔 could probably use an EEG to get it working; would definitely need someone to fund it. Could train/fit an algorithm to map certain patterns of brain activity to intended movements, but would probably need to be individualized to the person. Would also need someone with more experience on the robotics side for the hardware but the control part could be developed prior to that using a 3d model of the tail (still need the EEG) rather than the actual hardware for fitting the algorithm. (I think emotiv had been using similar approaches for game controls a while back, they've probably made some headway since) I'm not saying it would be a "good" use of time, money, & resources. I'm just saying it wouldn't be a total non-starter.

Why does the banner have the hiragana に(ni) instead of the kanji 二(ni)? I think (but I'm not an expert) that when writing a number in Japanese you're suppose to either use the symbol (2) or the kanji (二).

can be. gender fluidity doesn't always mean you're nonbinary. I think some people fluctuate between man and woman exclusively and don't leave the binary

it also depends if you see non-binary as an umbrella term any gender aside from man or woman, including or excluding agender or if non-binary is only one of the gender identities. In the end it's best to ask a person directly which labels they use/accept, since all non-binary people (umbrella term) are technically also under the trans umbrella, however not all might identify as trans or use the label.
