Holy shit that transtrender pisses me off. He claims to be a female lesbian, has kept his male name "Justin", hasn't changed anything legally, hasn't changed anything medically and actively refuses any gender based medical treatment, has a huge fucking Adam's apple he shows off proudly, constantly makes contradicting videos trying to be the voice of the transgender community (whilst trying to silence Blaire White, a real transgender), makes sure every unrelated video talks about his gender repeatedly, and now hes trying to fuck with my games? I have never felt neglected. In fact I get included far more than most people due to my gender alone. The biggest issue for girls gaming right now is the huge rift in the gaming community with girls being seen as outsiders due to this sort of shit. So him trying to make a video of "I play computer games, I'm a 'girl', treat me special" is the absolute worst thing he can do for female gaming. But everything he does is about "treat me special, I'm a girl" so I'm not surprised he doesn't understand the desire to not want special privileges. Every bit of evidence suggests you're a guy playing computer games, its not surprising nobody is offering you boobie privileges - you don't even wear a bra. The only thing different about you is your eyeliner. And the pronoun I'm purposefully ignoring in favour of reality. And perhaps everyday feminism might wish to hear from a real female gamer, a real woman in STEM, and someone actively refusing the treatment they claim to not want. Given how critical I am of feminism I'm not surprised they'd rather find a transtrender with an Adam's apple, a fake gaming hobby, and a profession of whining over a lack of special privileges for the sake of "being treated equally". Quite frankly the only thing that isn't fake about him is his breasts, or lack thereof. Oh and I use rape as a synonym for winning hard. Guess which of the two of us is up at 4am with flashbacks. Hint, its not the man wearing eyeliner. This is the problem with feminism, exploits other people's shitty experiences in order to guilt trip people into behaving the way feminists want them to behave. And most of the real victims whos experiences they exploit, well we all hate feminism and strongly oppose their actions. I mean Justin himself has demanded people use "trigger warning" any time they even hint at rape yet here he is doing the complete opposite. I'm almost glad, I fucking hate trigger warnings as I'm not a child. I want people to treat me as a normal person, trying to dainty around the subject like that just shows how damaged I am and incapable of coping with normal conversations. If I need a moment I can make an excuse to go to the bathroom and cry to myself like a big girl, I don't need a constant reminder of just how much my life has been damaged. The same is true of tiptoeing around the rape jokes, not just trigger warnings. Rags' response to the situation was pretty accurate. There was a recent video by Andywarski, his brother (Chris, asian) works counselling rape victims and addressed a similar point. The response went into detail properly about easing back into society and the like and was very accurate but by and large was the same as what Rags said, don't prissy around it all, treating the subject normally helps people ease back into the real world which doesn't come with foam padded corners. In this regard Justin's advice, and that of most feminists, is actually very damaging to rape victims and stops people transitioning back into a relatively normal and self-sufficient life.

I'm a little late, but only just found your channel through a recommendation. I am a gay, atheist, Native American male, that grew up in poverty. Yet, I've never picked up a game and thought "There's no gay Native Americans in this game. I must announce this oppression to the world!" I play games like Witcher, Skyrim, League of Legends, Street Fighter, Dragonball FighterZ. Not because there's a character that represents me, but because I like the gameplay, the story, the strategy, or even just the exploration. I never felt outcast at any tournament, at any event, any store, or even somewhere public like an arcade. No one shunned me because of who I was, instead, we were here to play games, and enjoy a common interest. The arcade was the first place in my life where I felt completely included. No one cared that I wasn't white, or that I wasn't rich, no one cared if I brought my boyfriend along. Nerd culture brings people together like nothing else can. If people fail to understand that, then they're the problem.

Except... the Internet wasn't always like that. I remember being online back in 1991 and for the most part, people were very civil and friendly. There were far fewer people online and to get online was something of a chore and cost a ton per hour. That tended to keep the asshats, dirtbags, and morons away.
