I always wondered after that prisoner with the helmet got mother's blood and took on her traits and then the snake did a little bit also if Marcus ingesting her eyes will almost kill him but make him crazy strong what you think we already saw without easily he took out those other soldiers while he was injured and barely alive. It could make things super crazy

Some things I'm still wondering about: Mother asking Campion to recite the importance of the number 5 to life - pentagons/temple connection? Five forces? Mother naming herself Lamia, a child consuming snake demon. Paul being frightened by the stick doll - Tally's doll? Ghost Tally's doll in the silo? The dolls look like the drawings and petroglyphs of Mother. Telekinesis of the Carbos and corpse when Campion is in the silo. Mouse seems physically real, unlike Sol's other manifestations - just a messenger/soulless empty vessel? Paul burning the tablets, ones referenced to be similar to those used by a dissident sect back on Earth. The prisoner reversing the blood flow.

A few things that occurred to me 1. The atheist will probably bring children which could affect some of the dynamics. 2. Paul said that the tropical zone wasn't a safe place for the serpent which could mean that on one side of the planet people can flourish and on the other side snakes. Maybe Kepler snakes cant survive in moist climates and that is why their bones are in a desert area and the holes traverse to the core of the world.

The cave painting isn't anything to do with Mother and Father, I don't think--I believe it's an implication that humans CAME from Kepler b-22 to EARTH under similar circumstances as Mother and Father came to Kepler b-22! This obviously opens up a huge can of worms. Heavy Edenic imagery at the end of season one where Mum & Dad burst through the core and end up in the tropical zone (Eden and the Serpent)! It has shades of the ideas within Prometheus...but I think it's the best thing Ridley Scott has touched in close to two decades! I think the biggest plot point will be the resettlement of Mum & Dad in "Eden" and conflict between the atheists and Mithraists...and hopefully more light is shed on the whole "birthing chamber". Seriously this is some of the best television I've seen in a LOOOOONNNNNNG time!

But the giant skeleton skull don’t have the same dentition than the one Mother gave birth to. Maybe it will change with its growth, maybe it had evolved differently or they’re just not the same species?

Evolution (or the so called devolution) does not happen to the same generation, but happens over multiple generations.. So basically the great great grand kids of the current genration might show some minor signs of this devolution. I am hoping the writer, Arron G, understands this process before he pens the further seasons..

I think if the organism naturally reverts back to a previous state it should be considered as another step of evolution, if the organism was forced backwards by scientific means I think that should be called de-evolution.

Will hearing “Sol” drive Paul insane too? Will he keep hearing the voice or be able to live without it. As a child he may think it was sol, but also be able to do something other than beg for it to come back. Will Paul and Marcus-Caleb find each other?

Did mother and fathers original ship fall fully down the pit? I'm trying to remember as I think it happened early on, but I think it did happen so I think it's already in the tropical zone somewhere and mother & father eventually find it to go back to earth as the cave painting depicted this

I'm really enjoying the discussion about RBW generated with these posts. On a number of occasions there have been points made in comments by other viewers and RBW fans that I have found thought provoking and enlightening, even if they differ from my own speculations about where the show is going. Just putting it out there but what if it is in this story that who it is that raises the orphan is very important to whoever or whatever The Light is? More specifically, what if The Light wants its Chosen One to be someone that is sympathetic and caring towards the devolved humans? Now that the sea creature has taken Tempests' baby, we essentially have 3 orphans being raised by different parents (wolves??). All 3 orphans fit the description of the prophesied one but due to their different upbringings and influences upon them, it appears that not all 3 will be intrinsically able to fulfill the prophecy. Paul is an orphan raised by Marcus and Sue / Mary (both atheists posing as Mithraic) for many years while they were all in hypersleep. And now, Paul is sympathetic only towards those of the Mithraic faith as shown by his change in attitude towards Sue after she became a 'believer' in SOL. Campion is an orphan raised by Mother and Father who are both androids programmed to be antagonistic towards the Mithraic faith. Campion is sympathetic towards androids (esp. Virell), atheists, Mithraic believers and serpents. I'm not certain but to date, I have not seen how sympathetic and caring Campion is towards the devolved humans; other than the fact that he doesn't want to eat them. Yes, Campion says that 'everything has a soul' but does he view the devolved humans as anything more than animal-like creatures? Though Tempest and Othos' baby is also fatherless, at this time it is different to Paul and Campion in one key area. Paul has a father figure in Marcus. Campion has a father figure in Father. The baby was taken by a sea creature that appears to be female. Though its growth will be accelerated due to some of Grandmother's power, we have yet to see what kind of father figure it will have to influence it. Hunter came close to becoming a father figure for the baby but was too late. If some of the other comments hold true and the devolved humans are closer to being 'pure' than humans are, then they will still hold value to SOL / The Light. Although the creatures seem now closer to being animals than human, they are still a creature that has been created - especially given that they were formerly humans. If their welfare and existence is still cared about and of value to SOL / The Light, then the One chosen by It must be a person that cares about the devolved creatures also. I think that because Tempest and Otho's baby was taken by devolved humans it may be raised by them also. As a result. the baby will be sympathetic and caring towards them also. That is something that neither Paul nor Campion have been so far. Perhaps SOL / The Light desires a deliverer that will deliver all classes of creation to the Tree and thus to fellowship and communion with It so that SOL can communicate directly and personally with each of them. It's only a technical point and I'm not sure whether it's valuable information but although both Paul and Campion are both orphans, they are not without 'fathers' or father figures. Paul has Marcus and Campion has Father. We haven't yet seen if Tempest and Othos' baby - which is also an orphan - will have a father figure to guide it. The baby may be raised by the female creature that took it from Tempest. My point is that because of the points listed above, the baby may fit the description in the prophecy more so than either Paul or Campion. As stated earlier, given how the baby will be raised and who it will be raised by, it will most likely not be discriminatory against devolved humans nor will it view them as a lesser class of creation like how Paul and Campion might view them

Ahhh... I really don't want Marcus to be any kind of an asset. I was kinda pissed when Lucius pulled the necromancer eye move instead of just killing him because it automatically extended a character arc that i felt was over. I have lost interest in Marcus. The only thing that is left for him is to have a quick redemption arc where he sacrifices himself to save his son and bring him back to sanity.

Interesting premises. One remark though. You made a comparison in between what Atheists are considered to be by the movie frame and what Atheist means in the common understanding giving its definition as being "one who believes there's no god". That definition is false. Atheist means a person who is not convinced momentarily by the provided evidence there would be a god. There's quite a big jump in between : "I am not convinced of X existing" and "I know (believe) X doesn't exist". Atheism doesn't impliy "knowledge" of a god inexistence. It only means: there's insufficient proof to underline (a) god(s) existence.

I believe Sol is the villain of this story. The Mithraric believe so much in Sol that their faith blinds them of not seeing the whole truth. So far not a bad show and it shows how destructive we can be in destroying ourselves and living creatures (animal exinition from the war), not resolving nor accepting only to shoot off to another planet and still bring the same BS. Maybe reasons humans start to devolved on Kelper 22b cuz Sol is sick of humanity and their issues. Gosh couldn't stand Hunter's ass. Great video!!!
