I remember when I raised my standards on friendship I lost most of them and I was alone but happy at peace with myself and God. Some friends cause you to sin and to do disrespectful things.

you so wrong if you don't know yourself better as in done self discovery,then you will always be lonely,but if one does self discovery you will never be lonely and also if you have high self esteem,and you do not care about public opinion,you will never be bothered by people or society negativity towards you.It is a good life actually best life.Am a loner and introvert but not lonely, i begun discovering myself when i was in high school that's when i discovered myself as a loner and introverted too,but i did not stop there i continued discovering myself as at the same time setting my standards pole pole and it is a good life so good because one always stays out of trouble and toxic people.My family members are my friends period.

Good talk. What i have taken from this,is that you have to better yourself first, inorder to get what you deserve. When you raise your standards especially a woman you will have many enemies including your fellow women. But only if one can withstand being snobbed, kusengenywa ciothe, by many people then one will go far and will achieve alot in life but by of course prioritizing God 1st always.. People might tend to snobbe you based on your level of standards you have set on oneself but the same people also admire you plus your confidence though they can't befriend you koz of your strict standards which they can't stand...If one set high standards she always attracts serious and constructive mature and focused people in her life.
