Moss also has the foot strike on point naturally where as his foot makes contact with the ground his knees are even in stride for the next foot strike.

Not often that 4.1 vs 4.3 straight up is on clear display but it is here. Moss was a fascinating athlete to watch. 6'4, but had abnormally long legs for his height so his strides were even larger. Extremely narrow hips. As Cris Carter called him, a human greyhound build. Young Moss of 1998-1999 was DeSean Jackson/Deion Sanders-type skinny and had clear 4.25 speed. By 2000-2001 (clip here is from 2001), he had added a noticeable amount of muscle and clearly gained a step in his speed. Plays like this one, first TD in playoff game against the Saints, or the untouched 9 route long TD at Detroit in 2001 show Moss running 100% uninterrupted and its a sight to behold. Nobody playing today hits the straight speed like he did.

@@patrickr2691 LMAO! You don't know you don't vote on who is the fastest? You time them. You time them in a distance that allows them to get to top speed. Not the 40. The 100m dash is the real race that determines who runs the fastest. Moss was run down from behind 5-6 yards in a game by 10.20 100m sprinter Terence Newman. Guess what? Newman is not on that list. Why? He is definitely faster than Moss. If you went by 100m times Newman ranks outside the top 20 in NFL history. Today Tyreek Hill 10.19 100m, Tony Brown 10.12, Anthony Schwartz 10.09, and others. Moss did not have world class speed. There have been 30+ players that actually did have world class speed. All of them were faster than Moss. Do some research.

@@sydboski These people would really freak if they knew that Jerry Rice ran almost the same time in the 60 in the 1987 NFL's fastest man race as Moss ran in college in the 55 meters (55 meters is only about 5 inches further than 60 yards), and that Rice ran this on grass, whereas Moss ran on a rubber indoor track in spikes. Moss's 55 meter time was 6.32, and Rice's 60 yard dash was 6.34. The fastest man race times seem pretty accurate, although I don't know if they were fully automatic; I've gone through some frame-by-frame on Smart Cutter, calculating from the first movement and finish, and the times I get are under the official times enough to where they leave room for realistic reaction time to be added in to equal what the official times are said to have been.

@@puckutubesux7356 Great research on your part. The 60's in the NFL's fastest man comp. were hand timed. As you can see Moss was not as fast as these Moss fanboys think he was.
