In this Range Report I get a chance to get some trigger time on another great firearm from my favorite company. This is the B&T APC9K. This is the updated and upgraded Gen. 2 model of the APC pistol with ambidextrous charging handles that are non-reciprocating. This video documents my personal opinions, experiences and thoughts on this firearm. Yours may vary.

I have a binary on a DD Mk18 pistol. It works well there. It does appear to have a problem on that B&T.

I remember when I got my APC9 Pro, I went with the black model. The K model was too short. Though the two tone color FDE made an impression in my mind of a Singer sewing machine for some reason in my mind. It made it emotionally attractive, just not practical for my needs.

The Holosun may be set on auto adjust and not manual because mine can get crazy bright

I am not a fan of auto adjust on red dots for that reason.

Brother, I both love and hate your reviews. 😂. You are really picky. But keep them coming. I have this gun in flat dark earth and I really love it. I have an aim point on it, a magwell And I have the Tippmann trigger like this. I like flat triggers. I put a dead air Wolfman on the front and it is my home defense weapon with subsonic hollow points. I’ve never had a failure. To be fair, there are two things I don’t like about the gun. Flat dark Earth is a pain in the ass to keep clean. Second, I don’t like the bolt release. I find it difficult to release with one hand as it requires a pretty high amount of force. I’ve changed my manual of arms with this to simply hit both releases at the same time which is easy from the grip you need to use.

Those are very fair dislikes about the gun. It is ok if you do not like some of my reviews. I just try and be honest and I know my style is not for everyone.

Very cool, how does it compare to the copperhead?

The Copperhead has a better locking mechanism in the rotating bolt, but the B&T is better made.

@@thetexasgunvault Yes you are! We cannot even bring a firearm to a friends house. Only to and from a range or place of purchase or to place of repair. In fact while traveling to one of those few places we cannot even deviate from our course of travel. For example we are not allowed to stop and have a meal or do other errands and such.

Both are great. I think these are sexier, but the MPX has a better locking system.

I have the exact same model. After shooting the APC9k Pro and an HK MP5 clone… my suggestions I’d spend the money on the HK or HK clone if you want something that’s softer shooting.

Yeah. The hydraulic buffer does a good job, but nothing beats a roller locking gun.
