In this video I talk about how to identify Range sessions vs Trend sessions, ideally before the market even opens, then how to play the mean reversions if it's a range session vs using normal Smart Money Concepts if it's a trend session.

On chop days I like to try and pick a direction and just play spreads far OTM. I think you trade futures or options. A lot of people play TQQQ or SQQQ shares on trend days.

Can you elaborate on what spreads you use for chop days? I’ve had success with iron condors or credit spreads but I find the second session usually ends up wrecking my theta spread if I’m caught on the wrong side when VIX is over 20ish because the moves are so extreme.

May I ask if in dealers market dairy if a day have a long positive green bar and a long negative red bar , how to deal with that ? Thanks .

Usually a sign that we will probably get a lot of chop EoD and it’s best to close up your positions once the price action starts to reflect that and call it a day.
