Yeah, before Gilda said those were scones I thought they were fuel patties like those made of straw, dung and twigs.

This would have worked better as a two-parter, exploring more about why the Griffons fell into dissoray after the treasure was lost and also to let Gilda be explored further as well. Let people see that she evolved since last time, acknowledging her behaviour from that last time in Ponyville, that she knew she was in the wrong but still have a hard time accepting that she was a douche, blaming it on others and to slowly through the two-parts make her accept that she was a total jerk the last time they met and understand that friends are worth keeping around. I was also annoyed by the map part, It could have easly been solved by having Twilight and the rest being needed at another place on the map, not knowing what would happen if they didn´t follow the map´s advice, it would be the smart thing to do after all since they don´t really know much about the inner workings yet. Also you could have an entire episode next time about the adventure of Twilight, Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy. But I digress.

Because I have literally been working on a story (I think that I've told you about this before) for 3 or 4 years now and I just need to know if there is a defining thing that I need for it to be actually... well... good.
