The Cloud Kill stays useful for a long time after the level you get it at. Really good gun.

I absolutely loved the Cloud Kill smg! I was surprised at how well it worked when I was 10 levels above its level in normal mode.

Two side mission rewards hanging chad and lovemachine are both amazing and perform on legendary levels.

Null Pointer actually has a special effect that increases crit damage on successive critical hits. It's a homage to zero's iconic critical ascension skill, just like the cloud kill is of maya's skill.

So happy to see Omniloader taking its rightful place as top of the trash pile. I really enjoyed the handling, look and damage of the weapon, but its weird special effect just didn't work most of the time. After using it for over an hour I still couldn't figure out what triggers it... manually reloading the pistol? Letting the mag run dry and automatically reloading? No matter how or when I reloaded it, some weapons were still empty on swapping over.

The “Hand of Glory” I got on my first play through had a scope on it.

whispering ice is my favorite by a large margin. Pulling enemies in makes for great crowd control, and on Moze the killing potential is still there... Plus it works pretty alright with the vampyr ability, not as ridiculous as a storm front but still good enough in my experience.

In borderlands 3 legendary weapons became so easy to get compared to borderlands 1-2

You can own mission weapons if you hang them on your wall in sanctuary before completing the quest.

The omniloader is a really good gun for mobbing in the first playthrough, it's just a decent blue pistol and I reccomend if you dont have a good setup early on.

The omniloader sounds awesome to me personally, every time I'm in fight for my life I always die because I forgot to reload the fastest killing gun for the occasion.

Nice guide. I would be interested to see your list on side quest rewards too. Whispering Ice has been one of my favorite mobbing grenades. It’s worth mentioning that because whispering ice acts like a wide range proximity mine, its damage tends to be used without waste. Also, with an elemental focused Amara with Conflux, whispering ice’s ability to inflict a status effect to multiple targets turns the battlefield into a dot fest.

I loved the Cold Shoulder, probably one of my favourite snipers. The freeze chance is really good. The "Whispering Ice" is so good, that I still use it, even though I've played through the whole campaign. Damage might not be amazing, compared to everything being a much higher level, but I found the freeze chance was actually pretty high. Also the utility of slowing enemies down with the extra mines has gotten me out of a lot of sticky situations.

Would love to see like, a long comprehensive review on this game. Been watching your channel for a while, and I would love to hear literally everything about the game. So far, I have only been playing as Flak, and I have loved most of this game. The script was just a tad goofy sometimes haha

Hand of Glory and omniloader (not for the effect) was the only guns i kept for the second playthrough, i guess i value those hitscan a bit more than normal :D

One fun fact about the Cloud Kill: This gun was known pre-release as a few content creators had gotten it during a gameplay event where they were allowed to just spawn in random guns. Interestingly, back then it had a different flavor text that read "Yo holy shit, she dead". I assume they decided that it was just distasteful considering the context during which this gun is obtained so they changed it and yeah, I agree with that one.

The fabricator is only good if you have the eridium you need to farm it properly. Hell I'd say you're better off farming the slots than using the fabricator. Used a bit under 900 eridium and only got 15 purples

I kept getting rekt in the Cistern of Slaughter, but the Whispering Ice helped me out of the pit despite being like 10 levels old. I love that grenade so much.

The Quadomizer seems like one of the best rocket launchers in this game. I have a Ruby's Wrath, but I'm thinking that it's not the best rocket launcher.

Traitor's death is my favorite... and probably one my favorite of all game.. is so satisfying shooting this thing...

This is the second time I've seen you mention the Omniloader at the top of one of your lists and crapped on it. And you're dead wrong. The utility factor of saving reload time over swap-time is excellent, and is what carried me through the GraveWard battle. Granted I don't know how it compares in later playthrough modes, but at the time I picked it up in first playthrough, it was doing MORE DPS than any other pistol in my inventory. Plus the special effect on top of that. So yeah, color me a fan of that one.

I've been slow on the Borderlands 3 grind due to a few other games having my focus, so I'm only nearing lvl 50 now. Cloud Kill is probably the number one weapon that I'm looking forward to re-aquiring in TVM.

Traitors death and hand of glory are fantastic weapons, same as pretty much all jakobs weapons this time. Whispering ice was a very fun grenade to use. The eridian fabricator left me quite disappointed. While it's useful for getting purples i don't think it's worth wasting the eridium on. I sat there for an hour spamming it trying to get a legendary and not one dropped so I'm convinced it doesn't drop legendaries. If it did then it would be no 1 for me. I think my favourite is hand of glory followed by traitors death. Hand of glory is satisfying to use and pretty impressive if you pull off all crits on flak. It tears through stuff on crit flak build.

Traitor’s death is easily my favorite Jakobs gun in bl3. It’s satisfying and fun to use, and it looks sweet as hell. I find it to be the most fun on fl4k though because of fade away

Just a prediction, bet there will be a speed kill on a raid boss involving 3 of the same weapons and an omniloader.

Where's the Hangin' Chad?? That gun is an absolute BEAST considering it's fire and has INFINITE ammo and decent damage.

I don’t know of other weapons but the legendary cloud kill is a gun version of the same skill from Maya’s skill in bl2. The cold shoulder unique vladulf to me is a reference to “the cold shoulder” mission from bl2. The weapon has said name and is cryo only, the mission in questions shares the name and takes place in the fridge. This game is full of Easter eggs or references even for its own franchise

The leech is used as a tool, you use the tazer then swap to a better gun, and when you swap back if you did it correctly your leech should have its taser reloaded after about 8 seconds. Its good for characters who need more sustain durring a fight.

We all knew that the Borderlands have some crazy guns... but what we weren't thinking of was a GUN THAT SHOOTS GUNS!!!!!

Theres probably gonna be a UVHM in borderlands 3 as well as additional levels so idk if i wanna play the game again for ok story weapons that eventually will be underleveled n un needed.

My best gun I have is a (purple) Atlas Assault rifle. Damage-900x2-+60%crit +40%Gun damage And anointed to give 40 accuracy and 60% crit while barrier is up And I’m a Zane main :P

The number of quality weapons you wind up with in this game, makes it very hard to choose sometimes. I feel like in BL2, you usually had a couple that were the clear winners, and you’d just stick to those. With Mayhem modifiers on, I wind up with over 30 blue and purple weapons in less than ten minutes. Chest farming almost makes no sense, because its just faster to kill mobs of enemies, which invariably contain a few badasses and drop great stuff.

Traitors Death is one of my favorite guns in the game.

I like the Omniloader. +21% Crit and good accuracy in full auto.

I used a lvl17 Distributor up until I was about lvl33 with Amara.. the increased elemental damage you can do with her makes that gun ridiculous for a while.

My favorite s are the Traitors Death, Leech, Cloud Kill, Redistributor and Hand Of Glory.

Does the Luck stat from guardian ranks and random artefacts effect the odds of things like the Traitors' Death? Because that would be a great way to get use out of that stat once you've completed your build.

Took awhile to get used to the floaty controls, coming from bl2, but I'm fucking loving bl3 so far

I got a leech as as a world drop level 47 on my first ever playthrough

I’m not even at the 14th entry yet but I really like the chadd unique weapon, I use it as a utility for elemental stacks with amaru (as I use faze cast) I’m level 31 and have only invested points in that skill tree I have bonus fire rate, element chance and damage, a bit of gun dms age is in there. With all these perks the chadd is not exactly the best weapon in damage or fire rate (even with my bonus stacks) it passive stacks, however the special effect is it has invite ammo and is a cov weapon, while all cov weapons have “infinite” the ammo chadd doesn’t consume any ammo and also doesn’t have a breaking point. To me infinite ammo plus a x2 projectile is good if you want bonuses for elements. The really funny thing about this gun though is the red text, charts and ability. The special ability says “shoot away the tears”. it’s unique and really funny. If you’re not interested in the effects with and from the chadd (as me I level up this it becomes less useful) I still keep it because it makes me laugh every time I read the weapon.

The Nullpointer Chest is fixed. you only get it from Zero now.The Quad guaranteed drop is fixed as well..
