Hi guys, how are you doing lately? I'm a little busy with my work and I don't have the time to start a new project. so I decide to update this video and fix some mistakes before I move on to next one.
Ivan Lendl's nationality is fixed in this version. He played for Czechoslovakia until 1992 when he became an US citizen.
I couldn't update women's version due to the bug on the WTA website. The date widget won't allow me to choose a date other than today's date. I hope they can address this issue soon.

@@Michel190778 yes a great player and a double olympic gold winner which will take some beating. Such a shame about his injuries but that's the risk of this level of elite competition. It's also astonishing for how long Fed has been competitive. His career is probably fading out now but what a career it has been. It's likely impossible but I'd love him reclaim the number 2 spot to achieve it in 3 different decades.

@nilotpal rai when? when was Nadal out of top 10, even top 15-20 like Novak and managed to bounce back from being outside of top 20 to winning 2 grandslams in a row, completing the 9 masters 1000 wins (golden masters), winning another few tournaments and playing another couple of finals in only 6 months to end up as the year number 1? I'm sorry but he hasn't, even at his worst Nadal was still dominating/doing good on clay and winning titles. He was never outside of top 10 so he must've been winning tournaments to stay inside top 10.

@@charlie172011 - well in my opinion there is only BIG 3 , and Murray can`t be in the same group as them. In every achivement he is a distant fourth. Many people do not underrated Murray , but simply have resistance to media push narrative of so colled big four. We do not buy that. Now say all that , on the other hand for me Murray IS without any doubt a true tennis legend. In any other tennis era he would easy surpass legends such as Agassi , Lendl, Connors, McEnroe, Wilander, Becker etc.. Bad timing to show up on a big tennis stage. @@nakuliyer4693 You are just penalizing Nadal for being most dominant on his favorite Slam (Roland-Garros) than Federer on his favorite Slam (Wimbledon), but not for having his Slams less evenly distributed by surface. Which makes no sense. Nadal has his Slams more evenly distributed by surface than Federer. In effect, Nadal has won at least 2 Slams on each surface (hard, grass and clay). Federer only has 1 Slam on clay. 2 Slams on each surface >>>> 1 Slam on each surface. 2 >>> 1. Nadal has his Slams more evenly distributed by surface than Federer.

People, it's not fair to compare results and players from different eras, the conditions were a lot different than today's and it plays a huge factor in tennis itself. Everything changed since rackets, balls, courts, marketing, training, diets, the people itself (height, nutrition, environment, money), etc. You can't even compare Federer to Djokovic who is 6 years younger.

It's freaking insane to watch promising and indeed successful players like Murray, Roddick, and Wawrinka rise and fall all while Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic just keep resurging over and over again. In 2016, it looked like Federer and Nadal may be on the way out due to the wear and tear. One year later, they split the four slams. Then in 2017, it looks like Djokovic might be degrading, one year later he's winning slams again. Meanwhile, multiple guys who entered around the same time as Nadal and Federer's dominant rise and battled them early on like Roddick are *retired*.

I like seeing Dominic Thiem be consistent top ten since 2016 and then Zverev hopping up into 3rd like over night. The 2019 season was a troublesome season for Zverev as hes now ranked 7th, and the 2020 season has not given them many chances to progress higher. But Domis US Open win is HUGE! 3rd in the world since the Aussie open of 2020, also another HUGE feat for Domi. Both are the real deal, next number 1 and 2 in the world.

It's amazing that Ivan Lendl who became world No 1 in 1983 and then held the position for a good 5 plus years, 270 weeks from 1985 to 1990( except briefly for 4 months in 1988, when Wilander was No 1). It was the most competitive era of tennis and yet he still continued to be at the top at the beginning of 1990. It's a reflection of his consistency and longevity at the top. He had to contend with Borg, Connors, Mcnroe, Becker, Edberg, Wilander and yet he managed to win 8 grandslams, 5 year end masters world championships, reach 19 slam finals is a tribute to his grit, persistence and hard work.

Karlo Popuschek I’ve been watching tennis since 1974. Never in the past or now have I seen such a complete tennis player than Roger Federer. When at the top everyone is aiming at you. Sure Novak is a very good player. Now ranked #1 but still isn’t that much better than Federer. On any given day at 38 years old can beat Novak. 2019 Wimbledon Djokovic took the title but Roger was the better player that day. The tournament before that Federer defeated Novak to indeed Djokovic and Rafa ended the year at #1. The main Stat I like for all-time rankings is weeks at #1 consecutively. This men’s they were at the top the longest. And Roger holds that. Plus winning US open 5 years in a row. Winning 3 out of four majors 3 times losing the French to Rafa twice in the Final. Ten major finals in a row winning eight of them. Ranked by ATP #1 all time and voted by the fans #1 just last year. Novak and Rogers head to head is almost equal. Same as Roger and Rafa. No doubt all three are great at the sport but Federer is the GOAT.

Vibing Shizuko Even when Federer was injured in The Australian Open this year Novak had difficulty beating Federer. In Wimbledon Federer had two Match points before losing in a tie breaker fifth set. Tournament before that Federer beat Novak to take away his number one ranking. So to use the term smoke him is over exaggerated. I have no argument Djokovic is among the legends of the game. Holding some great records. Now ranked number one is deserved. But put him against Federer in 2006 he would have been out classed. Federer is the most all around greatest tennis player of all time.
