I wish I could like this video more than once. I had no idea how much I needed a queer read on FF men. Frankly Auron should be in S tier but I love daddies so I am entirely too biased. That said Balthier at top of S Tier was an extremely solid choice. You made me laugh out loud several times.. I encourage you follow your instinct about liking more of a comedic vibe in your videos. That said your FFX challenge run was what brought me here; as the kind of gamer that always imagines / plans oddball runs but has a hard time finding the free time to follow through, that sort of content is SUPER fun for me to consume. I loved your FFX re-class run and that gave me such an urge to do my own playthrough on the Expert grid and see what unusual builds I might be able to come up with! Hear me out... Cloud is best girl. He might be the popular boi, but deep down he's just someone who is deeply traumatized by war, and very closeted. However you can see it in both FF7 and FF7R she's is an absolute dork, when she's really soft and caring when her stoicism isn't needed, and she's someone who genuinely seeks to connect with someone who make her feel safe in her emotions. Seriously switch the words SOLDIER for Cisgender (or cis) and you'll see just HOW MUCH Cloud sounds like a closeter transfem. Poor girlie, but I love her, she's done saving the world, she needs someone to save her from her traumas and solitude, and I would soo volunteer for that role. Barret gives SERIOUS daddy energy in FF7R. Balthier is really ultimate boi bc he's cool, he's charming, he's rich, he's EXTREMELY well learned and speaks with such eloquence, and he actually walks the walk, he's not your spoiled little richboy, he does also have Daddy issues tho, but everything else about him is 🥵
