I'd say the only ranking that I heavily disagree with here is Radagon. I just had a lot of fun dodging in and out of his various AoEs and hammer strikes, and that being accompanied by the ER main theme made it all the better. That said, this is an overall solid af ranking, with an unexpected number 1 that I totally respect because I love him as a boss too. Cheers!

Loved Rykard at #1! Such an amazing spectacle and the Serpent-Hunter feels fantastic. I would definitely disagree on Radagon though. I have nothing against playing with the summon, but the fight is better when all the aggro is concentrated on the player rather than split with the summon.

Placidusax was the perfect example of the principal of a great Souls boss: difficult but completely. Every time I died I knew it was because I screwed up or got greedy.

You're the only people I've ever heard call the Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight double fight "a fair challenge."

Rennala is definitely my favorite fight in the game, especially in terms of design, atmosphere, and pure visual splendor. I also find the first phase fun. I will say though Rennala is only a pushover...if you use a melee build. If you decide to go with magic, she has one of the highest magic resistances in the game and absorbs 80% of all magic damage dealt to her. There is a spell that deals physical damage that makes her easier, but fighting her as a mage was still a pain in the butt. She's still my fav and, to me, the most fair boss in the game.

Regarding Rykard Snakes are considered the enemies of the Erdtree, so with Rykard being all about blasphemy and opposing the Golden Order, you can kind of see how he decided to become a scalie.

The more I fight Radagon the more I grow to hate him. But for me it's because I think he's stupidly hard. I cannot get that fight down at all. Easily the hardest boss in the game for me. My #1 is Godfrey. The first phase feels so unbelievably good to me. There's such a great feeling of weight from his attacks and there's a perfect amount of time to attack between his attacks. It's the only fight in the game that feels like a dance to me. Along the lines of Artorias, Gael, and Sekiro in general. Hoarah Loux isn't my favorite but the first phase is just so good it doesn't even matter to me

Perfecting Radagon's moveset was so much fun, and then the giant space elephant comes in crashing all of the fun when Im chasing it for about 3 hours only for it to teleport to opposite site of the lands between for the n'th time in a row

Radagon is one of the few bosses i don't think they meant for you to summon for. Having no summon skyrockets the quality, and it is honestly top 10 in the series for me

I'm sorry but Radagon under Godskin duo, mimic tear, and Gideon is simply just saddening

Great video, Guys! I still haven't played this game yet, but it's nice to see that Elden Ring delivered plenty of great bosses, despite all the re-skins featured in the earlier videos. Also, congrats on ranking all of the bosses in the game. That was no easy feat, but you pulled it off! Mimic Tear reminds me of Dark Link from The Legend of Zelda games, the Doppelganger bosses in the Castlevania series, and Gogo from the Final Fantasy franchise. Bosses that mimic the player can be difficult to design correctly, but, when developers get it right, they can make for interesting duels. Anyway, I enjoy your content as always and look forward to your future uploads!

Rykard is the MAN! Malenia is low. You are so focused on Waterfowl Dance, that she hits you with something different. Most bosses don't have an atrack that cause fear like that. I like it. That's probably hie she survived Radahn. I think Dragonlord is amazing. It might not be From Software's best work in terms of bosses, but overall, with the main bosses, they did a great job

I agree with the hyper aggressive ai when healing, especially the godskins who will never let you heal with a nice black flame to the face or the draconic sentinel with fireball spam. Astel is such a beautiful and terrifying creature. I couldn't stand elden beast because he is just so fat and a stamina waster. I think Margit's lesson is to explore the map as much as possible because going there first is a nightmare. I hate Malenia, blade of miquella so much. Definitley agreed with most of the top ten. Dragonlord should have been mandatory while godskin duo was optional. Also Mohg's theme was amazing. Rykard was a great fight and his chaotic skulls were awesome, really fun and fair boss. great vid guys.

Playing this game with the grafted greatsword left a sour taste in my mouth because I had to use summons for 3 bosses but my second play through with uchigatana duo I was much more satisfied so yeah everyone should play this game a second time with a strong enough build to deal with the bs of the late game bosses . My fav boss was easily Godfrey cuz of how fair his 1st phase was

I think I'm definitely in the minority with Margit, I didn't kill many bosses before heading into stormveil, only at about level 20, and I absolutely wrecked his shit, it took me like 2 attempts at most

The aoe spam doesn’t bother me as much as long as it can be predictably rolled through or gives enough time to be run away from (which unfortunately not all are but it’s mostly fair in ER i think) The heal canceling really gets under my skin tho. It was cool with crucible knight and margit and the other big shard bearer bosses, but it does get overused and it feels cheap when given to otherwise easier mini bosses

Agree on elden r beast as well it’s so nice to look at and so pretty and flashy and has some cool attacks but gameplay was wasted potential I don’t know why they did not give you the horse would have made it less annoying chasing after it

Man, rewatching this after seeing the 10 worse in the series and seeing pre-buff Gideon's placement is jarring. Not that I disagree with the changed ranking though, screw the current patch Gideon.

I freaking hate the Crucible Knight, not a big fan of Godskin Noble, I just cannot stand bosses with rapiers that they just poke me from a distance with, drives me insane for some reason, Astel kinda sucks IMO, all his aoe attacks were really annoying and the fact that 90% of him is off-screen at all times doesn't help, Godskin Duo is absolutely disgustingly high up, one of the worst, if not the worst duo fights I have ever fought, which granted isn't saying a WHOLE lot seeing as I have only fought one good duo boss that being O&S, I hate Margit, love Morgott though, I absolutely despise the hell out of Malenia, but I WAS expecting her to be high up on your list, since most people, it would seem, love her, I used to hate Mohg Lord of Blood, but I refought him recently in new game+ and love him to death now, I am so flipping happy that Rykard is number one since that's my favorite fight by far, and that Dragonlord is second, I love both of those fights so much.

I don’t know why everyone hates on the Elden beast so much. The teleporting can get annoying but it’s just such a grand fight with fun to dodge attacks (to me at least) and an amazing arena and soundtrack.
