To get tested a person first has to make an appointment to see their primary doctor, go to the doctor's office, interact with the receptionist, sit in the waiting room with others, have the face-to-face with the doctor, interact again with the receptionist, and walk out with the prescription for a test ?? That's interesting, considering that we're constantly being advised to avoid hospitals, medical centers, and doctors offices. Am I going to do that, or am I going to stay quarantined at home? About testing, NYS Governor Cuomo, in one of his recent briefings, spoke in great detail about the many steps, supply chains, and chemicals needed to complete tests and render results. That's where the developmental stage of current testing is at right now. It was said that testing needs to be developed to the same stage that the home pregnancy tests are at. At that point, testing will become most effective, convenient, inexpensive, and widely used. Appreciate your update. Thank you. Health and safety always...

PS. I'm watching Gov Cuomo giving another update. Again he speaks about testing. Problems arise because chemicals come from China and other countries. In addition to that, the testing Labs were created and staffed for normal testing needs, not for the current overwhelming situation. Everyone is doing as much as humanly possible to meet current needs... Thus, unavoidable delays...
