Rapper A$AP Rocky Headed to Trial for Allegedly Shooting at Friend

A California judge found there’s enough evidence against A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, to send him to trial in the new year. His former friend and fellow member of the A$AP Mob hip-hop collective A$AP Relli says Rocky shot at him during an argument. The Law&Crime Network’s Jesse Weber speaks with criminal defense attorney Lawrence Zimmerman about what we can expect during the January trial.

How this made it to trial, is just mind boggling. Relli used a friend as a human shield, theres no concrete evidence and he suffered minor injuries to his hand. He handed in shells, himself, after police searched. He owed a tonne of money for a mutual friends funeral and more and has a net worth of about 200k. He never pressed charges, bro running out of cash.

Case of attempted extortion gone too far. He tried it and Rocky called his bluff. Relli picked the location for the meeting, found the casings, held onto them while messaging Rocky and his manager before eventually going to the police after 2 days.
