Ijime Dame Zettai from sonisphere 2014 is the final song of a 5 song set that proved them in the west, very much worth the watch

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🕛 'Uki Uki ★ Midnight' has (IMO) some of their most adorable choreography. I especially like the part where Yui and Moa fly around the sleeping Su like smol fairies. This song has some of the best audience participation parts. "You and Me! Uki Uki Midnight! Closing Time! No Way! Kinkirariiiiinnnnn! (Glittering Bright!)" Plus, they added lyrics about eating dried squid for the benefit of Moa. : ) Sadly they haven't performed it since 2017, and only once that year.

Don't think any of these girls regret doing BABYMETAL. They got to meet many famous bands and people like Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande (Yui's favourite artist), Korn, Rob Halford... They brought joy and happiness while touring the world having fun on stage. It was certainly an exhausting journey but one they will certainly never regret. Not many people get to experience a 20k something crowd chanting your lyrics or a 60k crowds at a huge prestigious festival cheering you up and doing circle pits. But I'm sure that's something you never forget and never want to. :)

Uki Uki Midnight is a fun song with a lot of call and response! MoaMetal likes that. Su-Metal gets to dance with MoaMetal and YuiMetal a little more in this too.

This imo is one of the most underrated BM songs out there. It's one of my top 10 favourite songs. I'm a sucker for electronic elements in metal.

YES!!!! This is my go to pick-me-up song. Whenever I'm in a funk I throw on this track, this exact performance interestingly enough ;), and end up with a smile on my face (and a slight sweat) by the time it's over. One of the aspects that I appreciate about Babymetal the most is how eclectic they have been in their music. They've incorporated almost every sub-genre of metal/rock with so many different other genres and continue to expand their catalog with each album. Their most recent, "Metal Galaxy," took this to another level by branching out to other genres in the world, from Bollywood style music to Latin Jazz. Nice that you played the Budokan version. I saw many performances (I D Z, 1997, SSA2015, Tokyodome) of this song but not this xD It's not one of my favourite songs, but the Call&Response parts in this song gets me everytime. @Trash Talkers i don't know if you heard the crowd in the beginning and during the whispering of Su. Also the Dub-step breakdown/dance is watch worthy.

Really need to do Ijime Dame Zettai from Sonisphere 2014. It is the performance that broke the band in the West. It is probably the single most important performance in Babymetal history.

Keep the Babymetal Mondays rolling round. We don't need Su growling - too much of that and Babymetal becomes just another band. So you were in a band called SHI ... in that case you should really react to a Black BABYMETAL (No Su) song written by Yui and Moa (lyrics and music) called '4 No Uta' (or Song 4). The reason - shi means 4 in Japanese, but it is considered an unlucky number (like we have 13 in the west) because shi also means death. The song is saying lots of words have 'shi' in them but don't mean death so neither does 4 and it is just a superstition. Damn every week I'm like reliving all those songs with you guys it's been great ahah, as you guys are slowly reacting to all BM songs I can't wait for you to react to more obscure songs, stuff that people don't hear that often ^^ It would be cool to spice it up to maybe react to different versions from various live shows! For instance I don't think you reacted to any performance from Tokyo Dome, despite this show being the biggest one they ever played! (100.000 people over 2 nights)

Thanks for the video. This was my first time listening to this song too. I listen to Babymetal, pretty much every day. They put me in a good mood and put a big smile on my face. Another enjoyable reaction from you . The mv to this song is fun as well . Lot of requests for Ijime Dame Zettai live at Sonisphere UK . Worth reacting to as it was there first appearance at a festival outside Asia. In front off 60.000fans and most did not know who these 3 little Japanese girls where . Made a little bit harder because it was on main stage . The organisers had noticed the interest in them as gimme chocolate had gone viral on internet and invited them to play a side stage But even more interest had them moved to main stage a couple of months before . Not sure if this was the right night but if you have Blu-ray and you look close you can see that yui has a loose bootstrap that's about a foot long when they were up on that middle platform 10 ft in the air she even stepped on it a couple times it was a miracle they didn't fall off of there that being said she did fall off the stage during that same concert series

You should do some Black Babymetal next, you have heard how awesome and talented Su is, next you need to chheck what Moa and Yui can do together without Su. GJ! or Sis. Anger from 2nd album, Metal resistance are both heavier than Black Babymetal songs from the first album; Onedari Daisakusen which is more rap/hiphop i'd say? and ofc Song 4 (4 No Uta in japanese) is written by the two themselves, more chanty crowd engaging song. those are 4 good songs, whatever you might pick, please do them live. :)

@@Hollywood6IX Song 4 is definitely special one. Moa and Yui wrote lyrics and music in their tourbus in Singapore as challenge from Su to write song about number 4.. in 2013 (I think), so they were like 13-14 years old.

Next Babymetal Monday has to be either "Akatsuki" live at the budokan or "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" Live at sonisphere! As for the days in between...another Band maid song, maybe "YOLO" or "Blooming" or another Jinjer song, maybe "Teacher teacher", if you havent done it!

A couple of suggestions that I think you guys will enjoy; I remember smokey said he was a big pro wrestling fan, so I think you guys should react to "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge. It's an amazing song that smokey will probably recognize straight away. The other is X Japan, a Japanese rock band from the 90s. They were the Babymetal producer's favourite band and one of his biggest influences when he put Babymetal together. Babymetal have taken a huge amount of inspiration from X Japan, as have basically every Japanese rock/metal band nowadays. Try "Kurenai" from "The Last Live" in 1997 at the Tokyo dome, the crowd is unreal.

After being giving a hard time by fans for what perceived in there first reaction to BabyMetal which they relised after looking into BabyMetal Properly. To there credit they removed there first video because as they put it they were totaly wrong what they thought .

This was probably when Babymetal were at their peak performance-wise. Yui was still part of the group, they've kinda lost some of their magic since she left even though I was never her biggest fan, although Riho was the perfect replacement I still think Yui was instrumental in making Babymetal the huge success they have become.

So happy you did this one! Awesome song and Babymetal sure are special! Many people have suggested Black Babymetal, which would be awesome. Su is amazing but the songs without her are fun and great too. 4 No Uta or song 4 would be my pick to start with. Also if you want to check out something different I would love to see you react to Murderdolls or Wednesday 13. If you wanted some good metal to react to: There's an African cowboy death metal band from Botswana called Skinflint. Check out their stuff. I'd recommend Iron Pierced King, Mbube The Great, Tokoloshe, and Eyes In A Leopard's Spots from them.

If you like the sound of dubstep mixed with metal/rock then you should check out the album "The Path of Totality" by Korn. Also, check out Twisted Transistor by Korn, i'm sure being rap guys you'll enjoy the official video ;P
