This is such a beautifully colored palm! And because it’s fast growing, I’m sure it’s very appealing when starting a new area.

Seed set would be significant. You might get throwbacks resembling pure sealing wax palms with the desired cold tolerance. Here’s hoping.

Beautiful, I was looking for the lipstick palm. But this hybrid is even better for its cold hardiness. I only see seeds for lipstick palm sale on Amazon. Where can I buy this locally? Love to buy a small one and try and grow and propagate it.

Interesting trunk variegation as well. There seems to be a variation of lipstick that is getting around Australia and is doing well in the sub tropics like your area.
