Played it for an hour or so, don't understand the hate it's getting. It's a mobile game from Activision Blizzard, of course it's gonna be a gacha game. But the gameplay is fun, and the characters are nostalgic. If you just log in, do the daily shit, log out and have fun with it, it seems decent. Pushing to be R1 WF etc etc, then sure, you'll need to pay 300k dollars, but are we surprised by the depths Activision will go to after Immortal?

Tbh, the only people hating on the game are either young kids still in school who should be doing their homework or F2P NEETs. Not saying all people in those categories are hating on it, just a major subset of them. I'll probably throw a few buckeroos here and there if I like the game, and I like the fact that I can earn money at my job and bypass all the seething NEETs and kids that don't have any money by just paying to win. Btw I'm not defending Blizzard, here, I don't like them just as much as the next guy, but hating on a mobile game that is the same as every other mobile game out there JUST because it's Blizzard is pretty lame.

I can see big potential in this game, one thing that annoyed me though, the turrets doesn't really last more than 5 seconds + It would be really nice if they add real numbers above the turrets (in competitive games it is crucial to get the exact numbers).

I feel like 99% of Blizzard haters don't even know why people originally started disliking the company. They just hate on everything they make because they know other people do and not because they actually know anything about anything. Game looks fine. Looks great, actually.

Hi rarran, i played this game in the previous beta the game is fun and is hard later on, from my experience jaina as a leader is pretty bad, baron riverdane, tirion fordring and grommash hellscream are way better, also the gnome mini is good at the start but then is kinda weak, the gnoll, the troll are the better ones especially the gnoll, he has an aoe attack so chicken are nothing against him, the best minis i found are a female tauren tank and the abomination, the tauren has a charge attack that deals a lot of damage, the wolf also has the charge, you have to be careful putting weak units in the front against a wolf, the abomination has a hook so he pulls and stun a unit and he always goes for minis in the back. For spells chain lightning is awesome against group units. When you reach 29 or 30 in the GRID you unlock talents for your minis and leaders but you have to buy them in the store and they are expensive, like 500 gold. Also you can deploy units in everywhere in the map, they are deployed from the nearest available point. Guilds are kinda useless, there is a raid battle but i didnt have the chance to play it, and you cant do nothing more besides communication

there are swarm counters like chain lightnig,blizzard,bat ridder etc... almost every deck has a card that deals with swarms by either dealing area damage,splashing etc... so its not that good to just brainlessly spam cards

We saw the same thing with Battlegrounds, Mercenaries and HotS, Blizzard loves to cash in on trends, whether the game is good or not and at least a bit unique though, is the issue, which BGs and HotS managed to be at least somewhat imo, although Mercs was crap, so we'll see about this one, but I agree, the initial presentation isn't very promising.

Ai cheats. Ive seen 5 resource unit ogre magi come in pairs after 4 resource just spawn. SAFE pilot hard counters all onptess as well. I hate when devs do this.

I've been pre-registered for this game for ages, and I'm disappointed on multiple fronts. First, I still can't install it, nor do I have an email saying I can play it early. Second, I was hoping for more of a classic RTS, similar to WC3/Castlelands and the like, with the current setup being an additional game mode - just like Hearthstone offers different modes like Battlegrounds, etc. Either way I hope they add more modes and I get to try it soon.

Hopefully they match based on your collection, like what Clash Royale did, that helps make it a bit more fair. Haven't read into it, don't know if that's the actual plan, but it oughta be, if they're taking actual mindful inspiration from that game at all.

Tbf, Clash Royale was very good. A Clash Royale clone with Blizzard polish (i know lmao) would be cool, but from what I seen this is so uninspired. From a fan of Clash Royale, I be optimistic too seeing the game at the start.
