Bro i started on a Wal-Mart bike and bought my first hardtail two years later but bought my first real bike this February. I picked up a 2019 Stump Jumper FSR Comp Carbon. I freaking love that bike. It gave me so much more confidence and has pushed my skill so much farther than I ever thought.

Congrats on the new Hightower! I test rode one recently and they are nice. My last NBD was back in 1995 in college. LOL. I ultimately went with a Ibis Ripmo AF, but would have been very happy with the model that you picked up. The Ripmo AF and the Hightower were dead tied in my book. That's the spec I was looking at, but couldn't find anywhere in the aluminum frame. Enjoy it man! Looks like you have some fun places to ride too.

I started on a Walmart Mongoose almost 20 years ago. I moved to where I live now in 2006 and wanted to buy a bike but never did until June of last year. I bought a 2 year old Scott Spark and then traded it in back in April for my blue 2020 High Tower. I love my High Tower! It's like riding in a luxury car. It climbs great, handles the chunk great, flow trails are awesome, jumps are sweet, and she is sexy. Good choice bud.

Weeks of waiting is nothing :/ I ordered a Hightower C S build, and the wait time was 4.5 months. I'm 1.5 months in, and "only" have 3 months to go... but luckily I already have a good bike. Every video about the Hightower that I watch just makes me want it more, but idk if that's a good or bad thing
