If you left click on synapse instead of right clicking it opens a list of connected devices where you can just click the mouse.

I disagree on the software completely because yes the Razer synapse is buggy but ghub can literally brick ur sensor(often happens when u use the mousepad calibration feature) plus it literally adds input lag and slight motuon delay as soon as u connect ur mouse to the ghub. If some of you woundered why ur superlight feels kinda floaty/muddy in game it's the ghub. I had to get a new g403 after using it with fun then I thought my copie maybe was defective, so I installed ghub when I got my superlight again and boom the slight motion delay came back. So I returned that copie and got a new one and I haven't synced it with the ghub and it feel super nice and snappy. My recommendation is that u don't install ghub at all when getting a new mouse(also I contacted support and they are seem to be aware of that issue). As for the Razer software I never had real issues just slight inconveniences

Huh? I have no issues of muddy ness using my GPX and I’ve had it since release. I even prefer it over my final mice so u less ur shooting some shit I’m gonna try out the razer v2 pro. I haven’t used razer in a long time in particular because I’ve had 2 of them literally stop working on me but that was years ago when I first started Pc gaming so maybe the quality has changed.

Hello! Im about to buy a new mouse (i have g502) and i dont know if i should get the gpx or the viper v2 pro. In my country the gpx is around 30-40 euro cheaper so im not sure if the viper still eorth it.😊

I own both of these and for my aggressive claw grip the viper V2 pro fits me like a glove. The SuperLight unfortunately makes my hand cramp up and after two weeks of consistent use my hand always craps and it gets very uncomfortable. This doesn't happen when I use the viper. I love it. Viper for me all day.

The Logitechs g pro x superlight has that big hump which I really don’t like but it’s still a good mouse. I’m looking for a mouse that has a lower hump and a bit wider too. Oh and bigger than the viper mini by a little bit. Do you think the viper v2 pro will be good for me?

Great review! I'm thinking about pick up a superlight. I feel it will fit my grip better and be more comfortable. It's funny to me how the gpro x gets so much hate for the micro USB.

i thought so too but it will inevatably break since you will plug it in and out constantly. for a 150 dollar mouse that is inexcusable

@@ege8240 My old phone was micro USB , I had the phone for years. I plugged it in way more than I will ever plug in the superlight and it never broke. I admit it is strange that they chose micro USB and not USB C. However that decision does not effect the performance of the mouse at all.

@@Techgnome21 it doesnt effect performance sure, but it effects lifespan drastically and lowers quality. i am happy for you that your phone is doing fine, but that is not really an argument. the mouse wont break first week, but it will break immensly faster than it would with c type(which is probably long enough other parts will fail first). it can also stay in the box without getting damaged or used but thats not the point now is it

i currently have only the superlight, although i do plan on buying the viper to test things out. i was always a fan of the superlight shape and i think this is only me because i fingertip but my ring finger rests on the edge of the plastic near M2 to have a better control since my consistency are nowhere as good. also for micro usb, i haven't really found an incovenience about the micro usb since i charge the mouse everynight. overall, its a solid mouse really (i have 17 cm hands).

@@murky39 did you ever end up grabbing the viper v2 pro? recently got it and love it, unfortunately for me though the 2.4ghz usb dongle didnt work out of the box... had to RMA it and currently waiting for razer to ship the replacement :/ if you havent gotten the mouse yet, please be aware that this is a common issue and unfortunately razer really hasnt addressed it as theres been tons of threads online all voicing the same problem. super dissapointed in razer considering they are a "top of the line" gaming peripheral company.

@@aminabumayerocks hmm i see, currently its still shipping but ill take notes if i have experienced the issue, for my gpx it still works perfrctly fine but yeah razer's qc team should really be better for especially a $150 mouse thanks for the info though.

I got the viper after using the superlight. Been using it since Christmas and I cannot get used to shape, I would honestly say I hate it

I returned my v2 pro. superlights shape is just much more comfortable with the hump and I slightly perform better because of it.

i returned my superlight i didnt mind the shape but it had double clicking that made it unusable and the switches and clicks feel so mushy and bad

Actually, i watched maybe 10 reviews between the two mice. You are the first who said good things about the Viper V2 Pro, and only you said that Logitech usee an "old" but also not old sensor (what i mean, is just there are better alternatives on the Razer side, and there is A LOT) And yes i agree that Synapse is a bit worse? I mean its not bad, but could be better, but i dont mind, couse G Hub loves to eat my processor. Atleast thats what i experienced with my G502.

Placebo is a powerful thing. Paying for a expensive mice might actually make you a slightly better gamer if you fool yourself

I used to think this until I tried one. I already had a $90 mouse (aerox 5 wireless) and the viper V2 was a massive improvement. Maybe there's some placebo involved but the mouse just feels a lot quicker and more accurate, less latency on the clicks, and I'm getting much higher scores

It really depends on what people are switching from. If they already have good gaming mice, probably only a small difference, but if they have bad mice then these are a nice upgrade.

I think I actually experienced this 😅 I used a Razer Baslik Hyperspeed and now I got a Pro X Superlight and I’m not sure if I’m better or not 😂

Yes. But it's probably down to the hump not being as noticeable.

while the difference between the sensors is barely noticeable while playing, I still don't like that you put them on the same level. Razers sensor is 2 generations further than currently releasing top mice and even more compared to the superlight

For my reviews I try to make a point that the various sensors that exist aren't really going to be a massive improvement over one another, especially in comparison to 5+ years ago. The only thing I really compared them on is battery life on which they are pretty much equal. Most of the other differences I prefer to not mention as it would go over most peoples head or they're just more finer details that I don't think the majority would notice.

Bro what are you smoking on the logitech hero sensor is far better than current standard sensor for ex. pixart 3360 or 3370, they are not 2 generations diff lol i'd say logitech went ahead of time for the hero sensor.

It’s not about using 30k, it’s about the tracking of the sensor and how precise it is.

I get like 2-4 weeks out of the superlight and like 1 to max 2 weeks of the viper. Makes it seem like you just read the specs for the battery life

you prob don't react to comments but im thinking of buyimg the G Pro X SUPERLIGHT. i have a palm grip so im not sure if it is good for that. the mouse (G Pro X SUPERLIGHT) costs around 77 euros in my region and i can send it back if i dont like it. I am mostly buying it to play highly competive games where every millisecond counts. should i buy it or look for something else? i have a mouse now where i can place my thumb comfertable andi t doesn't have that and it also doesnt have a clutch button. Is it worth taking the risk? Thank you!

V2 Pro looks and feels really cheap, software is cancer. Sensor feels delayed. But I dig the lower profile of the v2. Price should be no more than 69€. 150 is absolutely overpriced.

@@dewbe5327 na, I'm good. The black version at least looks cheap. Razer software is cancer since forever. Compared, to the other mices I'm using, the sensor feels not good to me. And the price is ridiculous for that product. For the same money I got a GWolves HTX, and this mouse can dance circles around the v2.
