Brilliant! Thanks so much for this tip. I love the versatility of the kits, beats and variations, and was frustrated that I couldn’t lay it down as a track. Now I can! 🤙

Thanks! I got this to work but I cannot record the intro or ending of the rhythm. I have Intro Rec enabled but it starts recording after the intro plays and stops before the ending plays. Any idea as to how I could change that?

no i've no idea as i would have suggested what you already have done.maybe look at the count in options as well as recod intro. or hit the play button on the rythym section at the same time as the record on the channel you are going into.

could you do this for instruments meaning if you don't want to loop an instrument maybe just the vocal?
@jerelmani18 күн бұрын
this tip is relaly only for the internal drums. If you want vocals seperately just record your instrument on one track and vocals on the other tracks. Using the mutes on the different inputs of the 505 might help you with your setup

Hi there. I have a question and would be so grateful if you could help me out🙏 I have a rc 505 mk2 connected via usb to a mac and I set up obs studio to record what comes out of the mk2 I’ve noticed I can hear the rhythm pattern in the recording.. Do you have any idea how i can make the rhythm only come out the headphones and not through the output… Any help would be highly appreciated! I’ve tried with internal settings on the mk2 but nothing seems to work for me and I’m slowly losing it 😅 Many thanks 🙏

I'm not at my studio at the moment, give me a couple of days and i'll get back to you. But you could try and record from one of the sub 1 or sub2 as you need to asign the rythym to those so they might not have the drums on those outputs.

@@jerelmani thanks for your reply really appreciate it 🙏 I’ve watched that link before and I’ve done exactly what he shows in the video but nothing changes for me… my setup is really minimalistic, i have : Rc 505 mk2 connected via usb to macbook pro Arturia mini lab 3 connected via usb to macbook pro OBS studio for recording. rc 505 mk2 is the external audio source The thing is obs studio wont let me choose what signal i want to record.. i can only choose rc 505 mk2 as a whole and can’t choose like input 1 and 2 or something like that… Im not sure but maybe what i want to achieve is not possible without a daw im not really sure anymore 🤷🏻♂️ Many thanks and best regards 🙏

@@jerelmani found out obs studio records all inputs together without having the choice to choose which inputs being recorded… if tried audacity 8 channel recording and worked a charm to get rid of the metronome in the recording.. all good now for me you can ignore my messages ☺️ thanks for taking the time to reply 🙏
