The Isekai genre is not as overexploited as the other genres, if you realize and compare all the animes of the Isekai genre that exist with other genres, you will see that there is a big difference, like the Shonen that currently has 10 times (or even more) the number of animes that the Isekai genre has, those of Idol too 🤣 even those of the cooking genre that have few animes exceed the Isekai genre in quantity, as such its popularity exploded in times of pandemic and because it is giving a lot of visibility to the Isekai genre I generate because of the memes of the anime community and because of the hate that they have for the genre 🤔 since according to everyone it is a very repetitive and cliché genre (as if the other genres were not copies of themselves) commented on this since many say that it's an exploited genre, when in reality it's not like that 😅 many just look like scratched records repeating what others say and don't do a little research before commenting on something.

My guess given it is the Suicide squad. Is that the Squad are assembled and sent to another world as some sort of mission. DC does have some fantasy world but it seems it will be a isekai type setting they are sent too.

Technically, considering the plot of 1st Suicide Squad Movie, i wouldn't be surprised if they are sent to Another World as some portal opened up on Earth (similar to "Gate" Series) or someone on Earth developed a dimensional transfer machine (similar to "Combatants Will Be Dispatched!"), and they are sent to check on the safety of the Isekai.

I can’t for the life of me figure out where the plot for this would be headed. In most cases in the comics, the characters who find themselves in another world/dimension/reality try to find their way back, but those are usually characters who have a world that might need them. In the case of any character forced into the Suicide Squad, they have no reason to want to return, especially since they were already being threatened with a bomb in the necks. Without that kind of leash, I can see them running rampant if there’s no force powerful enough to stop them, which would mean that whatever world they end up in would be nothing more than a horrible existence.

For me it isnt weird, its art, we never thought something like that could happen thats all 😂 a welcome surprise, Im here for this experiment 🎉

My guess is a portal opens up somewhere and after the military or civilians enter and don't return the Suicide Squad get sent in as scouts/vanguard to figure out what the fuck is going on (as the expendables Amanda sees them as are) and they end up trapped there, resulting in them fucking shit up? I dunno, odd concept but as Isekai-Trash and a DC Fan I'm all on board and excited. Its not the strangest thing DC Characters have done.

Flashpoint was an isekai... similar but different world.

The premise in my opinion isn't bad, but isn't good either. It has a "Throw money at it" feel from DC to its production, and WIT's more than happy to get that money. For now, I'm not optimistic since DC hasn't been doing great lately. We'll wait and see if this show is actually any good when it airs.

I thought it would be kids getting isekaied into the DCU as villains, but I guess it's supposed to be actual DC villains getting isekaied into a standard fantasy setting. Really weird either way.
