Ødegaard is world-class. Havertz is acommodating to his new role and just needs to finish a bit earlier but that comes in time. Gabriel has been having a great season and is also nearly world-class. We're in such a nice spot considering where we were a few years' ago. Rio was speaking nonsense about Saka. Only world-class players get 50 goals at 22 when playing in the very top leagues. Thank you for replying, and spot on. TP5 & Timber unlock so many other players and formations. The first game they played inverted fullbacks. We can play with more offensive players . Timber plays across the back line and in so many pockets. TP5 can play 6, inverted, double pivot. If they’re in the team you can see a variety of different player combinations working.

"TP5 & Timber unlock so many other players and formations as Timber plays across the back line and in so many pockets" Timbers played for 47 mins in the EPL and the injury prone TP5 has unsurprisingly been out injured for most of the season so i'm guessing you've came to this conclusion this by them playing together for Arsenal on your XBox right?

@@ramosarmando80 Timber beat City in a worthless friendly u played in by default after winning nothing for the 3rd season running but he couldn't beat 48 minutes in his first competitive EPL game. Ouch. Cedric, Elneny, Nketiah and even Havertz play for their national teams so that clearly means nothing. Ouch again. As for Husband of the Year Thomas Part Timer, his future position will be decided by the law courts. Ouch again. Why is it so unthinkable that Saliba might stay at Arsenal for the majority of his career? Realistically there are only 3 clubs in the conversation for the "next step" in his career: Real Madrid, PSG and Man City - who knows what will happen to Real Madrid (super league issue) and City (FFP breaches) in the foreseeable future? And I'm not so sure if he would want to play in the French League as long as he is young - Serie A and Bundesliga are probably not even a consideration for him - if Liverpool was able to hold on to Van Dijk through all these years why shouldn't we be able to do the same with Saliba?

I actually agree with the Partey comment,I think he is finished at Arsenal. I think combine his severe injury issues with the off-field rumours, his age and Arsenal's history of not offering players 30 and over long-term contracts, I think he IS finished at Arenal. I'd be shocked if he plays more than 10 games in an Arsenal shirt this season, and will be sold in the summer. I also think Rice was clearly bought as a replacement for Partey last summer, despite many fans thinking he was bought to replace Xhaka at the time, which we now know was Havertz. To me, both Partey and Rice need to be at 6. Neither are technically able to play 8 in my opinion, so I think Partey will go. I still rate him though.

I think the Mudryk, Martinelli point is trash, Martinelli and Mudryk would have played on the pitch at the same time, switching from a LW to No.9, a little like Odegaard and Saka's team-ups last season nearly won us the league. On a final very stoned note, pertinent none-the-less, Rice is the best thing to happen to Arsenal since Wenger moved Thierry Henry from a winger to a forward

If Saliba leaves us, it will only be for two clubs. Either Madrid or Barca (depending on Barca's finacial status in the next decade). I don't think he leaves for Bayern which is in a far less competitive league. He doesn't leave for United, city or pool and he's definitely not going to Italy. I just think Eddie is one of the assets to sell with profit and he dont really impact the games most of the time.Plus, ESR seems getting lesser and lesser physical contact and only move towards opponent goal more, instead of pouring more efforts on the defence which I think is the root of our magnificentt OOP

So how how would you describe "the culture" of the club in the last 20 years?
@thedoctor2085
@thedoctor2085 2 ай бұрын
@@JoshFord-zs8dg We've had 2 different "owners" and 3 managers in the last 20 years. Not bad when compared to the likes of Chelsea and United. In Wenger's last 10 years at the club, there was a general sense of decline. No clear direction as a club, lack of ambition in the transfer market and obviously low expectations around the club. We always seemed destined to lose our best players to more ambitious clubs around Europe. No serious player was coming to Arsenal to win. Arsene Wenger used to work miracles on the pitch with the quality of the squads he had available but the nonsense eventually caught up to us. The one thing us fans always held on to which was of course the beautiful, exciting football was completely dead in his final season at the club. Fans had become lethargic and indifferent to the club. Dead atmosphere at the emirates. These undoubtedly defined the club's culture around that period. Unai Emery came in and showed some promise on the pitch but was never given enough time or support to deliver any tangible results. Off the pitch, there was still that general sense of decline and apathy around the club. Now look at what the club has become in the last 4 years with Artera in charge. We might not be an unstoppable force on the pitch like Liverpool or city but anyone can see that the signs are there. We're definitely headed in the right direction. Arteta in the space of 4 years has remedied 2 decades of decline and mediocrity. Look at our squad. We have very valuable players and yet we're not having transfer sagas every window. Who'd have thought that was possible?! Arteta with the backing of the club got rid of players who weren't with the program including some of our biggest stars. That for me was a shift in the culture of the club. No one player would be too big to get dropped. Or replaced. Everyone has to pull their weight. Fans feel excited to be at the Emirates now. You can't even get tickets! Look at last season. The place was rocking every game! For the first time in a long time, I actually believed we were capable of something special. We actually got Declan Rice for a hundred million pounds last summer. A player with real top level talent. If that isn't ambition, I don't know what is. Players aren't coming to Arsenal to be passengers anymore. There's a clear direction and expectations are higher than they've been in a really long time. I would describe the culture at Arsenal today as one that is breeding winners. One with positivity and belief and structure to back it up. We're not there yet but it's only a matter of time now. COYG

While Osimhen would be my first option, Taiwo doesn't have Toney's PR so would go for alot less while still being very reliable. -Ferland Mendy: If noone else, please talk about Ferland Mendy. Such a class LB neglected by RM. As skillful as Saint Max and as defensively sound even more so than Wan Bissaka. He would give Martinelli that needed overlap and allow Zinny to start in Midfield.

I don’t buy Partey would have been a guaranteed starter. Against low block, especially at home, I think Arteta planned for two hybrid 8/10 players ahead of Rice, with a double pivot for matches against Top 8 clubs, and tricky away fixtures. Rice would be the guaranteed starter, while Partey would have been in and out, which fits with controlling his minutes based on his drop off late last season, as well as using Partey as RB when we had injury issues with White/Tomi at the beginning of the season. Remember, this all fits also with Mikel’s aims for this season to be “more unpredictable”.

"two hybrid 8/10 players ahead of Rice, with a double pivot for matches against Top 8 clubs" You really need to turn your XBox off and think about actually "going outside"

@@JasonCook-sx2ex I’m actually stating what is going on with tactical selections. If you are an ignorant muppet that’s not my problem.

If we get anyone from Napoli I'd rather Kvartskheila over Osimhen. Maybe it's just personal bias.
