Watch footage of a real UK driving test, on their test the candidate went the wrong way and also mounted the kerb! Will they pass their driving test or will they fail the test?
I have sped up parts of the test footage, mainly the more boring bits and only left in the interesting bits of their driving test route. I have also done a commentary explaining what the candidate is doing at several points of their test and any faults, minors or majors, given with an explanation.

2.05 first junction on your test. Advised to stop due to emerging onto 50mph road. "You might be nervous". What about the examiner? You could be totally not ready for your test and bop straight out. The examiner can get a bit of an idea after you have driven a little bit but this has not happened yet!

Quick question please at 22:15 if you cross that solid white line (Bus lane) is not a failed please??

Am I to check mirrors when stopping at lights and when pulling off from them?

Yes that would be great if you could. Think about the benefit of checking them before stopping, and you saw an ambulance coming, by being aware of it early, would it help you to deal with the situation? Before pulling away, If you noticed the motorbike before he zoomed passed you revving his engine, would it help you to stay calm, as you would not be suddenly surprised. You can never really check mirrors enough, it helps greatly to keep you calm and relaxed while driving as you will always see things before they happen.

I'm shocked he passed but I'm bald he did. I failed mine cause I touched the curb 😭

it is not as simple as touch a kerb and you fail. It is all about risk, in this example the risk was very low as the kerb was mounted at extremely low speed on a very quiet road and no damage was caused. I can only assume when you touched the kerb it was in a higher risk situation. Was your instructor sat in on the rest to give you their opinion? That is ridiculous that student should not have passed he clearly used the wrong lane to go around roundabout which is a serious. He even mounted the curb which is another serious. I do not care if examiner was being nice or not they are not there to be nice they are there to judge someone on their driving. I will sending this video to the dvla. Examiners should be at a standard and keeping it fair for everyone. Not passing people whose faces fit. I am disgusted.

I suggest before you send anything to the DVLA you first check who conducts the driving tests and also look at the examiner rule book / guidelines, google "DT1"

Hi.i support you on this..how comes I did the same on the roundabout and fail.i turned right on the left lane plus only 2 minors..not fair🙄

@@judymunyinyi3402 driving, and the driving test is not black and white, it depends on many factors, which are judged and assess by the individual examiner. The examiners do not have a black and white policy of this is a fail, this is a pass.

I actually can not tell if you’re joking on not if you really believe what this guy done was so serious then you need to look at some other drivers in the road who have done a lot worse and have been driving a lot longer
