Not that it's important, but Grandma's gun is automatic; not semiautomatic. What is important however, is that wasn't a dog in a space suit. It was a bear. The scene was from Knights of Sidonia. It's a great show and I was very disappointed that they only made two seasons.

i doubt it since they grew up more in english, and in english it's considered cringy, but if it clears it up i taught english in japan to adults, and a grown-ass woman said she calls her older siblings "onii-chan" and "onee-chan". and that calling them their real names would be weird for her (like calling your mom her real name)
