This Dr. is always so humble, "I'm a little nervous, not sure how to do this, but I'm going to do what we can". Then, he goes into the OR and works absolute miracles of surgical skill for his patients. It's amazing. He's amazing. And his patients get their life back.

I work as an ER nurse, and about 8 months ago, I had a patient come in who had something very similar. In addition to this, he also had open bleeding sores on his feet too. Unlike this patient in the video, he said that he didn't have any pain. As a side note, the smell was almost intolerable. It was like a combination of a strong pungent cheese (fungus) and rotting tissue (necrosis).

It may have looked the same. But, in the video. He had no open sores. And no fungus. The fungus is what causes smell. People that have horns on their head. I wonder if it smells? With it being rock hard. I doubt the guy in video had that sort of smell. Either way both men suffered. Doc pimple popper talks about the cutaneous horns and removes them from head. Ive never seen her remove them from the feet.

So happy for this guy... he's not a whole lot older than me. I had this med sliver on the bottom on my foot once, and it caused a build up (nothing even close to this) of calloused skin, so it was like walking on a sharp rock all the time. That was painful. I can't even imagine, no, I don't want to imagine, what that felt like for him. I'm just glad he got relief. Feet are so important.

There were fights with other patients if they took their shoes off. It was a battle getting them well enough with their mental health to begin with other things like rotting feet. So terribly sad. This is Keratoderma Puncta. It's a hereditary condition where the cells of the outer layer of skin on the soles of the feet renew themselves a lot faster then normal. Normal cell renewal cycle takes 28 days. For patients with this condition, it's down to 4 days. It's not cancer or any other abnormal growing of cells. It's just the cycle being far too fast. There is no cure for this. Only to keep the growth under control, taking away the excess skin regularly to avoid pain. Some patients have this in the palm of their hands too. Tho usually not as bad as the feet.

Hair raising vid! I have had some type of fungus that makes the skin on my feet thicken in spots and it will peel off like a callous. The Dr prescribed some type of cream that doesn't seem to do much. I have started taking garlic extract vitamins here in the last week or two and it's seeming to get better. In the area where it first started at it's almost gone and the thickening in the other spots aren't as bad.

When I was a kid, there was a kid around the neighborhood that had this on both of his hands and was covered completely on his palm and fingers. (Not the skin side) It was like he was, but wasn’t self conscious about it. He wore sports gloves all the time but had no problem taking them off. He just didn’t like talking about it. We all used to play football and it seemed he could catch just fine. Though I’m sure it probably used to irritate him. Feels like ages ago (Edit) Kinda looked like tree man syndrome but not as narly. Definitely was more tamed but then again he was just a kid then

I remember this episode and it always bothered me that his son is literally grossed out making fun of his own father saying things that are just not nice when he’s supposed to be there to be comforting, His father wasn’t laughing or smiling so clearly the things he’s saying, the faces and noises are extremely hurtful

Agreed. Meanwhile the son has some of them too..."not like that!" He really needs to have any checked that he has.

A lot of people try to use humor to alleviate the tension . I’m not saying it’s right or wrong , Don’t criticize others just because you don’t happen to agree , you don’t know what they are or have been going through .

He is just immature like every white boy. I mean what percentage of white people would you say, stay at home with parents? And even more, how many take care of their parents once they are old? What I mean, he could have done it. Like, in a psychological defense conduct. Like we always would prefer to mock somebody else, rather than to be mocked at or be the one everyone is mocking. At the end is insecurity and immaturity.

You did such a wonderful job for this guy Doctor! He will never forget what you did for him. Something like that I'm sure this guy was more than thankful for you removing it! It looked So Horrible before you took all of that stuff off of his feet. Poor guy had to live a long time like that and you brought happiness and positive thinking into his life. You are a great doctor that I personally will never forget 🙂👍
