I know someone who's worked in Mental Healthcare within the prison system from Belmarsh to Wakefield. The stories they tell of the manipulations that prisoners pull on the Clinical Psychologists is alarming. They did good work within the prison but many are there just to further their career. They'll ignore the warning signs to push their own pet theories through and make a name for themselves. When these monsters find their way to freedom it's not because the prison system failed but because Dr wanted to make a name for themselves (see John Venables for an instance of this)

Just read what April’s Mum said about her wonderful little Daughter. In the Guardian she said ‘she ruled our lives, she was was the youngest and because of her various disabilities we would have to provide care for her all the time.’ Coral, her Mum, says when she went into a shop ‘I would see April’s favourite ‘little Kitty’ things, anything pink, which was her favourite colour’ She would break down and cry when she saw these things. Our wonderful Niece turns eighteen very soon. She loved ‘little kitty’ things. I can picture her with them and the smile 😃 on her face. I feel like crying at what her Mum wrote. I want to reach out and comfort her Mum. You however were totally professional when dealing with the man who did this indescribable evil. I salute you and your professionalism is to be admired. I on a very human level can understand why even you desired to give this monster a good kicking. We have a family member who used to work as a Nurse in a local secure mental hospital.

I was at hmp Wakefield from 1999 to 2006. I was one of 25% of lifer's in there. It's a wiered prison compared from the rest of the prison service. The block is outside of the prison. It's not just the prisoners who where odd in there, some of the screws where too, no offence. One deputy governor there, got a life sentence himself for raping kids throughout Wakefield. Some major prisoners in there, Sidney cook, M25 rapists and Charles Bronson was there. At one time, a general from the Bosnian war was a prisoner there. Glad I got out of there.

That's all in my past now I stopped going g to prison n turned things around the first time I got pregnant so it's been a while now . Just wondered if ya had any female prisoner experience? Keep up the good work fella,I commend you for working with some of the people you have had to . Yes I've been to prison n not proud of it but my crimes are although still wrong are classed as minor crimes compared to some of the things prisoners you have worked with have done. We are today supposed to be civilised, however over the last 20 years or so there have been so many horrendous crimes. Mark Bridger the person who murdered little April Jones was given a full life sentance. Now as it happens I believe in God and I am very forgiving in my nature , but these type of murderers evade true justice and dont deserve to be looked after by the system until thier last breath. This is where I believe such criminals should have capital punishments served. No matter how forgiving a person is, to take a childs life for nothing but sexual gratification completely has no forgiveness in my world or Gods.... Rot in Hell Bridger.

I remember the news story at the time. Awful story. Such a lovely girl & family. Must have been difficult to manage him without wanting to stick one on him.
