So I know one of the biggest reasons why you are doing this vlog is to spread awareness of your chronic illnesses and help others to understand. Well I want you to know that you have definitely made me aware and helped me understand what someone with chronic illnesses goes through everyday. Today I was talking to a neighbor for the first time and of course we were walking our pups and she was telling me about how she is training her pup to be a service dog. Of course my immediate thought goes to you, so I asked what kind of task work was she hoping to have Annie do. Long story short she began to explain that she has repetitive joint dislocation that had lead to extreme pain. Again I thought of you and I said "oh like EDS?". I completely blew this woman's mind because that's exactly what she was diagnosed with several years ago. She was very surprised to hear that someone knew of the disease enough to understand her struggles and why training Annie to do specific work would be perfect for her. Of course I recommended she check out your tutorials as well as check out your vlog, so that she can see the message that you are spreading. I'm so happy that I started following Harlow on IG almost a year ago because it has opened up my mind and heart. Thank you Jaquie! 💕

So glad you had a positive MD appointment. Your medical folder is great. Let's hope it doesn't take insurance too long to get on board with what you need. Please send a shout out to your Mom and your cousin for stepping up and helping. Supportive family see the key to success. Not to mention amazing friends like Janice, Paul and the cutest little guy Orion. You are a warrior who is fortunate enough to have a Judd in your life. Everyone needs a Judd.

I hate insurance. I have POTS and a myriad of other chronic illnesses and had to go through this nonsense with oral zofran. It took me three months to finally get everything sorted out with insurance, doctors, and the pharmacy. It amazes me that insurance is even ALLOWED to refuse to give you a medication that you need! As if they know anything about your situation... anyways... just had to vent.

I have several questions for you personally about your sunglasses that you explained were for migraines. I feel that since you have a sensory processing disorder that you might understand what I experience from what I call a side effect of my neurological condition. I find that even low level sunlight (like what us Brits' call the rare and fleeting thing known as 'summer'!), it feels like I am being stabbed in the eye with either one needle or a literal handful of them, and all the points have recently been sharpened! I prefer cooler temperatures as the hotter ones exacerbate all of my conditions, and to the point I am slowly developiing a phobia (or at least increasing the amount of associated negatives) to spring (I panic because spring is coming, then during spring I'm so anxious because summer's coming) and summer (I'm too unwell to do anything much, other than be unwell!). I prefer autumn and winter! Anyway, the questions: Do you find that the sunglasses help during your sensory processing disorder in regards to light? Do they wrap around so you can't see light peeking in from the bottom, top, side, or near the nose? Do they have UV protection and other relevant protections for the eye? Are they prescription lenses, non prescription/flat lenses, or can they have either option? Are they comfortable to wear for long periods? Are they heavy? What colour is the shade of the lenses (for example, the typical ones are brown, black, grey, and the newer ones are yellow, orange/red, pink, blue, green, purple etc)? Are they worth the money plus shipping that you pay, from your pov?
@ChronicallyJaquie
@ChronicallyJaquie 7 жыл бұрын
Sorry that was a lot of questions, I do not think I can answer them all. They do help with my SPD, I wear them when there is too much going on in regards to light but my issue is more so with noise and touch. I wear them for long periods of time with no issues, and they are definitely worth the money!

You keep saying that a feeding tube could really help you, but also saying that you and your doctor want to avoid that. Are there a lot of cons to a feeding tube/what are the cons of a feeding tube?
@ChronicallyJaquie

I may not tolerate it, infection risks, it's invasive. It is better to eat and digest how to body naturally does it if at all possible. It has pros and cons just like any other treatment option.

Hi Daniel I saw your fotobomb JB's video, bless you for helping JB, you are a good cousin. Praying on the feeding tube, maybe contact Mary Frey, her husband is a pastor in Grafton, Mass, look him up Peter Frey, you 2 should compare notes, meds and find links and differences, it may shed light on why the mass vomitting, gastroparesis happens for many reasons and just maybe there is a link that may help your doctors? God bless Judd to not be so tired, good guy!Love your bark-Har! Have you every tried the sweet potato fries? What did the doctor say about pro-biotics? That actually helped my nausea and its cheap and available, Harlow's bone broth helps too.Lots of blessings
