oh my gosh, hippo's face when your dad put his hat on her😂😂 she is so so precious. and I'm proud of how well she's doing with barking!! it's certainly louder than the sweet little whisper bark she had at the beginning.

I have anxiety induced IBS along with reduced appetite, I go from starving to full in three bites so I understand the struggle. Never be afraid of food if you can't eat right now that's ok, leftovers are a God send! Take it slow, and know what your body can and can't do and don't be ashamed! I know you already know this, but just a little encouragement for you! Happy Mother's Day since you're Harlow's mom! ☺️

I used your tactic to teach my dog to speak, he learnt it in a week!! So excited and he can do it when I'm down to get attention, thank you so much for that idea :)

Hey Jaquie! I am 20 years old, and similar to you, I struggle with gastroparesis (and possibly Ehlers-Danlos also…I will have the answers soon). I just wanted to say that I am very thankful I stumbled across your youtube page a few weeks ago. I don’t know anyone with gastroparesis, and it is nice to see someone close to my age charging through it in a positive way too! :)

I know how you feel by being perfectly content being away from people too. I really like that I go to school in the morning and socialize and then come home to work by myself in the afternoon. I like being by myself because I can get overwhelmed and worn out by people. Good job eating and being positive!

Cottonwood just started where I am. Hard to breath, face is swollen, and severe headache. Grateful that I have a mask and can still get out and try to do things. Glad to see you having fun. :)

Hey Jaquie! I struggled a lot with gastroparesis when I was younger--not so much any more--but one thing that really helped me was a supplement drink called Orgain! Not sure if you've ever tried it. I hope you feel well enough to eat again soon!

A lot of people are kindly suggesting lots of drinks like that, which is awesome! I know Ensure is not the best and is high in sugar. But I do not want to switch until I get s suggestion from my doctor on Wednesday. (: Thanks for letting me know this one worked for you!

awwww. hippo is soooo adorable. her barking is improving, so thats good. i hope she'll be able to do it without the food. my doggy uses his paws to take off the hat sometimes, but its just adorable and funny.

You're so inspirational, I can't imagine how difficult it must be being held hostage by insurance companies about what medication they'll allow you to be prescribed. Thankfully we have the NHS in the UK and I've personally not been able to fault them. We've been away, so off to catch up on your last 3 vlogs now, loved the All About Harlow video by the way, still have the others to watch though. Hope you had a great weekend with your dad and Judds mum. Dawn and Boris xxx

Jaquie, I feel the same about greeting people. I don't have autism, but my social anxiety makes those sort of things difficult and uncomfortable for me.

You guys are great vloggers! Havent watched vlogs of any kind in a long time due to real life stuff. I am so happy for your victories, I relate very much. I have both IBS and GERD which means that stomache content flows back into my esaphagus and causes chronic inflammation. Anyhow, I from both have nausea all the time and I am not a big eater to begin with. Using the restroom for example and other strain causes acid to come back up and I get nasty heartburn and brushing teeth has me gag. Hey, I have dogs that gets eye goo like that too and I really want to give you the tip of chamomile tea on a cotton ball every day for a while and the discoloration and whatever irritates the eye will ease up! Not that it really is an issue to have but you might be interested. :)

That tea trick is new, how neat! She actually has natural eyes wipes we use every day. But yes, you are right the eye stains do not harm her in any way, it is just due to allergies. (: Also, I am so happy you like our vlogs!

I was on Zofran for years that my insurance only gave me 9 pills. Now that my GI NP has put in for only the generic name, Ondansetron, I get 60 pills for a month. It's a suggestion to see if you can just get the generic form of Zofran. I know my bf, Michael, loves not living in the pharmacy now.

Have you tried IV nutrition? I got superantioxidants through IV that helped a lot. You may be able to maintain your weight if your doctor approves. I just worry that you're lacking nutrition. Ensure doesn't provide enough. Also, I can relate to scarce meds. Hartford won't pay for my migraine meds. Ouch!

For real! What is it with all that noisy, boisterous, hugs-all-around greeting stuff? That's the fastest way to make me never want to interact with someone ever again. Hugs are cool, but just for a few special people and occasions.

Oh! Sorry, I tend to take things literally due to my autism. She is fine! She lives kind of far. I mentioned recently that she will be coming in a few weeks for the weekend (: She also came into town and took off work to take me to my bone marrow biopsy! Judd's dad is lives kind of far, too.
