as cool as this is get into something simple if you want to learn. i wouldn’t even start with a car, i’d get a dirt bike and an rc car. those are usually less complicated, and have small versions the things that every car has: wheels, axles, driveshafts, bearings, wiring, engines, motors, batteries, pretty much anything that could be a car part. and it’s usually cheaper too which is nice when learning.

I don't know if you know this tavarish, but lithium batteries are hermetically sealed. Lithium reacts violently with contact with the air. So it has to be completely airtight. Lithium will spontaneously combust when it contacts oxygen. So the fact that your battery hasn't melted down, says that there is no water inside. Because if water could get in, Air could get in, and it would have melted down already.

Working on cars is a therapy for a lot of us… and when things get tough most of us look at bigger projects just so we can stabilize our moods. I’ve been threw severe depression after losing the love of my life and moving states… Last time I was depressed I bought the s2000 and put an absolutely massive super charger on it… Now I’m extremely depressed, so up goes the boost and down goes the depression. Such high quality content. And that's not because of the car. The fact that this is a P1 is nice but what I mean with high quality content is how the video is made up AND your sponsor. I love when content creators don't just put any sponsor in the video. This really fits to your content. Everthing you do right now is just nice. You really deserve 1 million views in under 24h.

@Tavarish - Whenever we work underneath a car, it's always recommended to have safety glass on to protect our eyes from falling dirt, rust, etc. Our vision is very important of course. Invest in safety glasses. They are cheap insurance for our priceless vision.

I know a firefighter. That isn't for when the car is actually burning. It's to make the car safe for people to be around and move it after an accident. Let's imagine you get rear-ended badly enough in your P1 that it can't be driven, but no one is hurt and the car is just sitting there, not on fire. The cops come out, they do a crash report and call the fire department and a tow truck. The fire department will make all the vehicles safe so that people can work around them and not worry about the car catching fire or something else. In a normal car, this just involves disconnecting the battery and making sure there's no fluids leaking anywhere. Then the tow truck can do their job and load it up without worrying. So in this imaginary scenario, the firefighter would need to open that compartment and cut those cables to ensure all the electricity is disconnected. It's not for when they are trying to pull someone from a burning car. In that scenario, they're just going to break the glass and pull you out while their partner is fighting the fire.

For perspective, at 1.1 Million views after only 18 hours. It would take a single person over 81 years of continuous watching this on loop to accumulate this much view time. Who knows what the view count is going to be after a week. At the rate KZfaq Pays content creators for views, is is roughly equivalent to one fortnightly repayment if Freddy is planning on paying back this loan over 5 years.

The red bar at 2:50 is probably a reflective "warning triangle", which is a required item to have on your car in some European countries. In an emergency, you prop it up a bit back from the accident site, so other drivers can see you in time.

Hey @tavarish that lithium battery should be fine. Because it’s still reading 1.3v there isn’t an internal short (atleast anymore) and only charge it with a lithium charger as non lithium cells have a different nominal voltage as well as charging voltage/current. Hope this helped. Loving the content so far let’s see where this ends up!
@Airwolf-lm9cm

A nominal 12 V battery showing 1.3V is more then likely not fine. That is much lower then you would expect even when fully discharged.

The problem with Lithium ion batteries is that they explode when there is a short. If you do leave it on a charger I would do it outside, and away from something you care about. Maybe inside a steel dumpster or old oil drum
