Nice!!! I don't have a raptor. But man I wish I new a guy like u for the yfz450r. Been binge watching ur vids. And I'm thinking my quad won't turn over through the compression stroke b.c. its not what the piston was rated to. Piston said almost 13:1. But with the 5mm stroke it's gotta be more. I need help getting the starter to turn this motor lol. Love the vids man!!!

Hey Cuervo, great vid as always. You mentioned needing rebuild after 7 years or so, but I'm wondering how many hours are you considering. I've just bought a 2009 in great condition with 280hs and honestly it sounds like new. I don't know if they've done valves to it but I opened it yesterday and they were both intake and exhaust within spec.

with a cam and a throttle body you will make 78 with a ported head also you will make 83

I have a +8 stroker crank mocked up that is hitting the crankcase bottom, a gear on the main tran axle and rear counter balencer. It was built by crankworks and has the 132.5mm CWI pro rod. Its a beefy rod, dont these rods normaly get ground down on the big end before balancing on such a big stroker? You would think by now they would see the application and know that.

@@MrCuervoRacing accourding to terry geisick the balancer guy quit over there, thats all ive heard but im stuck with a crank i cant use currently. No luck getting ahold or terry over the holiday weekend.

With a kit like this what is the highest compression piston I could run with pump gas?

From my own experience anything around 11.1 your safe. A riding buddy has a 12.5 and mixes pump with race gas at 50/50. Works great. Again. Daniel would be better to reply to your question...I’m a self taught and definitely not an expert...

@@kevinvandusen7094 12.5 is a great compression to go with. They sell VP race octane booster, and I would use half a bottle of that stuff per 10 gallons. That would bring you to just shy of 100 octane, which will be fine for a 12.5 compression motor - I would assume.

How much would a 734 big bore kit cost alone without prepping the bottom end? And what would be the power for a 734 with a bump in compression on a 62hp 2018 raptor
