Hello today I bring you a recipe for sweet or savory empanadas dough. This is a super easy recipe for empanadas dough, you can make them the size you like, you can fill them with a sweet or savory filling and you can bake or fry them, however you want to make them they will be delicious.

Dough for sweet or savory empanadas.
Yield: 8 discs of Ø 15 centimeters.
Ingredients:
250 grams of all-purpose wheat flour (2 cups).
125 grams of warm water (½ cup).
50 grams of lard or butter (¼ cup).
5 grams of salt (1 teaspoon).
Preparation:
- Integrate the lard or butter into the flour, with the fingertips, until it has a texture like coarse sand.
- Add the salt in the warm water and pour it over the flour and fat mixture, with your hand try to form a dough until all the liquid is absorbed.
- Continue kneading until you get a smooth and soft dough, it is not necessary to knead too much.
- Wrap the dough in plastic film and refrigerate for 30 minutes or so.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin until it is 2 to 3 millimeters thick.
- Use a round object of the desired size to roll out the dough discs.
- Place each disk separately with a sheet of baking paper or a small piece of plastic bag.
- Store in the refrigerator until ready to use, they can be refrigerated for three days.
- They can also be frozen, stored in a plastic bag.
- To use them, they must be completely thawed.
- They can be frozen for up to six months.
