Thanks for sharing this David. I’ve just set up my own studio and am learning about the process. What’s described here is exactly the process I’ve used in a professional studio and am now how I’m approaching things in my own. I also record all my gigs and listen back to assess how I’m going. It’s amazing how much you learn. Cheers mate ❤️🎶🎸

@@davidshanhun Hi David, thanks for asking. Yes, I've recently converted an old building in my backyard in Blockhouse Bay into a music venue, "WorkShop 26". I'm spending some of this valuable lockdown time in learning how to use the new Soundcraft Signature 22 multi-track sound desk that I've bought to use in there. It'll be great to be able to record events and rehearsals with this. I'll still want Mike McCarthy's assistance for professional, broadcast quality recordings of my songs though!
