Red Dead Redemption 2 Characters Evolution Over Time From 1899 to 1907
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a western-themed action-adventure video game developed and published by Rockstar Games. Set in a fictional recreation of the American Old West in 1899, Red Dead Redemption 2 focuses on the life of Arthur Morgan and his position in the notorious Van der Linde gang. The game follows the gang's decline as they are pursued by lawmen, fellow gangs and Pinkerton agents. The narrative revolves around the characters of Dutch van der Linde, John Marston and Micah Bell in addition to Morgan.

The reason they don’t do undead nightmare is because in undead nightmares 1 John is actually in hell cause he never truly got his redemption while in RDR2 if you choose the honorable death Arthur goes to heaven and therefore can’t get undead nightmares cause he not in hell. That’s just a theory tho

Legendary ending to this video. Idk why i really felt for Arthur in this game. Almost like i lost my friend in real life or something. Arthur's death brought a lil tear to my eye no lie. This game is a masterpiece.

I loved Arthur, and I seriously miss him while playing with John, that's still one of my favourites ever in Rockstar's games. IMHO Rockstar didn't create a character, but a journey where you can find a friend

The epilogue just goes to show that Mary really loved Arthur. There can be no other reason that she'd still go back to visit his grave eight years after he died.

thing is, those ARE in the game, but they're very rare. in certain story areas, john can hear faint noises and see silhouettes of the old gang

I remember when replaying the game, Arthur got into a fight with one of the guards watching the sheep in valentine (by my direction). When I looted him I was surprised he had a letter on him, and I found out that was the same guy Sadie stabbed in the hand years later in the saloon. I just found that cool that this forgettable dude was already just wandering around existing during that whole time, not just spawned for the quest.

Fun fact: For some reason, when John meets Rains Fall at the train station in 1907, he still has his 1899 younger model. Perhaps a mistake by Rockstar devs that went by overlooked and they didn't bother to change anymore?

Even when I've played this game for exactly two years, I have yet to finish it. The story drives me so into it and being attached to Arthur makes it even harder despite knowing the ending.

The song as the end always gives me chill and makes me automatically sad. It makes me remember Arthur no matter where or when I hear it. That’s why Rockstar is the best game. I have such a strong bond and connection to Arthur, I grieved for weeks when he died and took a break from RDR2, not wanting to move onto John right away as I wanted to take some time to remember Arthur. I took my time on the story mission doing lots of things and completing the challenges so for my first round it took me around a year to get through as I was so immersed in this game that I could log on and do nothing but ride around for 2 hours and be absolutely stunned by the breathtaking views the game had, adding in random encounters and challenges is why I was able to go so long in the game without completing it. Once I completed it, it felt like I lost a part of me, as though a deep friend had passed away. Seeing the gangs decline and Dutch’s fall down the rabbit-hole into complete madness was like watching a father figure turn crazy. The gang were the best family I’d ever had and Arthur was a true best friend. Yet non of them ever existed.

when I played as Arthur I really felt a connection to him in the ending for wanting to die a good or bad person and I really wish rockstar will make the next rdr game where Young Arthur Dutch and Hosea are the only gang members to go in depth of the gangs past. :)

I remember how I laughed everytime when Gavin´s friend turned up in 1899. Then, when I found him again in 1907 and he looked, well, the way he looked, and spoke about how he had wasted his life, that hit me hard. Suddenly, it wasn´t funny anymore, just sad and disturbing. I love Rockstar for these moments of grotesqueness, where the mood changes suddenly. Takes balls to do something like this in a video game.

But dont worry if you want to put it on something I always just use a "KZfaq to MP3" free downloader on the internet for songs I like or cant find the correct info to straight onto my music player or phone 😁 WHICH I DID for this song!

You should've done Arthur and showed what he would look like had he lived another 8 years. The Epilogue is supposed to take place 8 years later I believe, making it 1907, so that means Arthur - who was 36 in 1899 - would've been 44 yrs old. If you do another vid, might be worth considering.
