Yes, I had the bubbling problem too. It was actually causing my roller mat to unspool a lot more material than what it should have. I’m actually close to be doing an update video on that mat that I had to work through some issues but watch my video that I put at the end it shows the difference between a 45 and a 90° fitting and how much more flow you will get out of 45 degree fittings vs a 90 or tee fitting. if you have to use a T make sure you put one of your returns on the tee and one on the run. Don’t put both of your drains on the run side and the tee for your roller mat I reduced the bubbling problem with ball valves on my drains, so I didn’t draw as much air down into the roller mat

@@diydan7019 why do you think it was drawing in so much air? I can’t for the life of me figure it out. It’s like a jacuzzi in the reef mat and it’s so loud

You need to regulate how much water is flowing through your drains? It’s sucking air from your display tank probably didn’t notice it when you were using a filter socks

@@diydan7019 also and forgive my ignorance as I’m not super technical. What do you mean by by “one of your returns on the tee and one on the run”?. I only have one return pump line. In my overflow there were two drain lines and the guys teed them together to go through the reef mat.

@@Mike-zp2dt a T has three ports two in line with each other and then the one on the oddball side is the tee if you put both drains going on the run it will create more back pressure on the drains and not drain as good if you put one of the drains on the tee the one that’s on the run, it will almost create a suction on the one that’s on the tee and flow more water
