perfect! been looking for these answers for days! teflon tape is a great idea! my issues is my adjustment knob is slipping, not the more common broken leak issues. I'll try the teflon tape, and then maybe buy a new knob if needed. Couldn't even find that to purchase. thanks for the help. hope you're well!

hey boss, i was wondering if you decided to get a new knob?. if you did were did you buy it from? i have a ridgid 6 Gal Pancake and i all i need is a new knob. during the transistion of moving into my new home somehow i guess it came off it and i didnt notice . i hope you can get back at me when you get a chance thank you!!

Which way did you put the glued piece back in? Toward the tank or away from the tank?

I have lost the spring on the inside of the regulator knob. I can't find any info on a replacement spring (size, part #, etc). Does anybody have any info on it?
