Hi You mentioned you don’t need to use a sealant bond breaker when using elasto proof bandage. Though could you do both. For the extra piece of mind understanding that Extra product is being used

You mention it can be used in external applications - does that include ones that will not be covered by tile? Eg roof or balcony covered with liquid membrane only? Does it ever lose the elastomeric properties when painted over with a membrane (flexible one, of course)? If you put several coatings over, brushed or rolled in perpendicular layers, for example? Thanks

Hi Toni, it can certainly be used in those applications under a liquid membrane without tile finishes! Confirming the elastomeric properties of the joint band are not affected when a liquid membrane is applied over, it can still move independently and to maintain the waterproofing integrity of the joint. You mention that you use the RF fabric in flat wall to wall and floor to floor joins. Can you use the elastoproof bandage on these same types of flat same substrate joins?

Hi Vzgsr, yes you can! you can choose to use either Gripset Elastoproof or BRW PF Tape for flat joints and again appreciate the support!

Hi you mentioned wall to wall junciton can use the RF fABRIC I have used it on wall to wall (so internal corner) - is that OK, Did i understand you correctly that the RF fabric is used on joints in the same substrate - whether its a flat joint or a corner. Areas where movement isn't expected.

Yes, but for wall and floor junctions, we recommend B50 Elasto Proof or BRW PF Tape. B50 -> gripset.com/products/elastoproof-b50/ PF Tape -> gripset.com/products/elastoproof-butyl/
