looking at the finished application in the final seconds of the video, was the surface prepared adequately for the membrane? I see lumps and protrusions in the finished application as well as the mortar lines. how flat and smooth is the preparation to be? Thanks

Hi Charles, before commencing the application, the important step is surface preparation, you need to fill any holes and voids before applying the membrane over, they should be flush and level with the wall, refer to the opening scenes where the joints were filled and scrapped for a flat even surface. How would you go about dincel or similar pvc retaining walls

Hi Ben, thanks for watching and reaching out! There's 2 options! Option 1 is a liquid system, you can use liquid membranes where the crucial step is the primer, we recommend using: Gripset OP Primer: gripset.com//products/gripset-op/ Option 2 is to use the sheet membrane, we recommend the BRW HD system that will adhere directly to the PVC without any primer: BRW-HD: gripset.com//products/gripset-brw-hd/ Hope this helps and happy waterproofing! :)
