Calming and Relaxing canal journey to clear your busy mind. Join me on my narrowboat as we gently drift upon the calm waters of the canal to the sound of added bird song.
The Journey started here... I once lived in the fast lane of life, happily married of 26 years, with two children. That chapter was suddenly shattered by the sudden loss of my wife to cancer, which led me in to depression and homelessness. Waking up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life, with just a suitcase, kayak and bicycle and no money, I've managed to rise up out of the darkness and find happiness and continue my next chapter.
I'm a self taught film maker, and creating these vlogs, it gives me something to do, share my personal experiences as I continue my journey cruising and living life on the canal. Please do consider supporting my channel below... Thank you Dave

Love hearing the birds chirping. Some years ago, I lived in the winter of Custer, South Dakota and there were no birds at all. The silence was deafening.
