Oh how I miss your reviews. How does the Javelin compare to the Stryker 4.5-30x HD? That has become my favorite scope, even over my IOR's. Thanks for the insight.

Richard, did you test the pinging of these binos on deer sized animals. Pinging metal plates is vastly different than pinging live animals and as a hunter the live animal pinging distance is more important. I live and hunt the Canadian prairies and shooting deer at 800-1000 yards is a common occurrence but accurately ranging them has been a challenge. I would be interested in hearing how these perform in that situation. Thank you in advance for your response.

I'm 100% with you! I own 2 Delta Strykers, which I've always considered the best buy on the market and I couldn't resist trying the Javelin as soon as it has been available. And I must say, I'm really impressed! And that's even without talking about price! I got this "jewel" for less than 900€!!!! I haven't made a thorough tracking test yet but so far, it's been spot on! The glass quality is just amazing and never seen in that price range! I played with the Javelin, the Stryker and the new Vortex Strike Eagle today as light was going down and I found myself finding the Javelin more comfortable to use!!!! Really impressive. Can't wait to test it more in depth....

How are the sig kilos. I have a pair of steiner rangers which are dam good for hunting but I really want a built in rangefinder that can communicate to a kestrel and maybe a bdx scope, just don't want to lose too much optical quality. Thoughts?
@RichardUttingSharpshootingUK3 жыл бұрын
Yeah they're a great rangefinder and comms with those AB devices are flawless. Glass is sharp for day time work. Dusk performance compared to Alphas..isn't..

@@RichardUttingSharpshootingUK Cheers for your advice. I may even look at the ones you reviewed considering the price compared to Swaros and Zeiss. Meopta also make rangefinder Binos I wonder how they might compare considering their scopes are top class
