Can't remember much but there was this other MBAV video where the writer replied to someones email and confirmed that they were either planning to portal them to a hotel in Transylvania or England or something, or a time travel episode to 1880's when Jessie first showed up to run the place. I would've loved the time travel version 🙃 Edit: I think it was a castle actually not a hotel

I loved this show too. Was mad it ended bc- similarly to Wolfblood- it was one of those hidden gems that came out of nowhere and aired bunch, but somehow you could never meet anyone who'd also watched it

Wolfblood actually had 5 full seasons! I'm not sure why Disney only aired 1 but I found the rest of the series years later on KZfaq 😅

i initially had the same issue with erica not saving ethan in the season 1 finale, but i realized it would be kind of out of character for her? she was very pro-vampire and always thought sarah fully transforming would be best case scenario. it would kind of make sense that she wouldn’t step in. also she just didn’t really care about ethan. like you said, she’s not so much a “good guy or a bad guy” as she is just someone who works for her own best interests lol

I’m pretty sure that the vampires in this show aren’t harmed by sunlight if they’re wearing sunglasses, but the show is inconsistent with that too

13:27 thank u!!! Someone understands how I think! Never ever end a season on a cliffhanger when u don’t know if your coming back! Put the cliffhanger in the middle of the season & come back stronger & end the season on a happy note. It just makes so much more sense

That wasn’t Disney actually. It was Teletoon or whoever made the series in Canada, Disney just distributed the series in the USA.

this girl said,my friend was equally upset at the lack of an ending, so she emailed a bunch of the writers until she got a response. Here's the ending! "Hey, sorry for the slow response but at first I thought this was spam or something... Glad you enjoyed the show and it's been a LONG time since I thought about that climactic season ender. As showrunner and head-writer, I was mostly in charge of the stories and season 'arc' including the 'Lucifractor explosion'... I think I still have the Lucifractor prop somewhere in my office. (!) Actually the initial finale idea that 'everyone is trapped in a big explosion' came from the producer's budget concerns - they wanted me to make it possible to cut cast members in season 3. And we never imagined that we'd get cancelled after 2 seasons because the show was doing very well on Disney Channel (I think it was #1 or #2 in the ratings at the time)BUT it turns out Disney cancelled us anyway because they didn't own the show... My plan WAS to reveal a hidden portal or tunnel in the basement of the house - my memory's a little blurry here - and then I wanted to start season 3 with all our main characters being transported to either a) Some important Vampire Castle in Transylvania (so we could do a mini European adventure for a few episodes), OR they all get thrown back in time to the founding days WhiteChapel (1880's or so) when Jesse first showed and ran things... For a while there was a plan with Disney for us to do the Transylvania idea as a summer TV movie, and possibly an ending to the show/series. But all those plans fell through and we all moved on to other jobs. Sigh. THERE. I admit I feel bad about the way things ended, but a) the producers insisted and b) we were pretty confident there'd be a season 3 and I knew the writers and I would have fun coming up with interesting ways to solve the plot puzzleblurry nere - and then I wanted to start season 3 with all our main characters being transported to either a) Some important Vampire Castle in Transylvania (so we could do a mini European adventure for a few episodes), OR they all get thrown back in time to the founding days WhiteChapel (1880's or so) when Jesse first showed and ran things... I love this show I wish I was able to find season 2 on dvd though. Also I just recently rewatched the movie & show on Roku for Halloween & omg the actual show was a bit more explicit than what they aired on Disney. Hearing them say “Crap” or “Damn” was wild to me. Also the cheerleading episode is probably my favorite episode “Three Cheers For Evil” out of the whole series but what’s hilarious is Ethan & Benny dressed up as Betty & Veronica to be the cheerleaders & this was years before “Riverdale” then Vanessa Morgan(Sarah)actually got to be with the real Betty & Veronica on “Riverdale” where her(Toni) & Veronica were both cheerleaders. That’s just crazy funny to be it’s almost like they predicted Vanessa’s future

Loved your video! I've talked about MBAV on my channel for multiple hours now because it's one of my favorite series, so it's really cool to see other people talk about it! The MBAV fandom has uncovered a lot of unknown information about the show, like the fact that Disney heavily censored the series and why the creator ended up making the finale a cliffhanger! (spoiler alert: they thought it would get the show another season, but teletoon had made no money from it so it didn't work out). I made a silly video on my channel that's very long where I talked about the show in depth if anyone's interested lol. Again, I love to see people talking about MBAV and keeping its legacy alive after 11 years of it being cancelled, thanks for your video

It's possible the reason Erica wasn't able to save Ethan is the differences in Fledgling and Full Vampires. Meaning if Erica tried to save Ethan she would only be replacing Jesse's poison with her own.

That was what I was thinking too because even though it’s safe for them to be outside none of the vampires seem to spend much time outside anyway. Which is pretty normal for teenagers so it’s not suspicious. A few minutes exposure won’t do much but standing out there all day would probably do some serious damage same way the concentrated stabbing lights do

About the sun thing, I swear I remember them saying something in the show that strong sunscreen basically does the trick to protect them from the regular sun. I don’t know if I’m remembering the wrong show/ movie or not though.

I absolutely love this show as a kid. My mom was very strick with what I watched. I was obessed with Twilight (Even tho I am sure that was probably something mom wouldn't have wanted me to watch. But I did it anyways. Lol). So to see that there was a vampire show on Disney which was mom approved I was ecstatic. I hated how it ended tho. 🥺

I kinda disagree with what you said about Erica jumping in to save Ethan instead to keep Sarah from becoming a full vampire, from what we see in the show (and movie) Erica basically has the whole vampire thing idolized. She's actually happy that Sarah finally became a full vampire, I assume that if it was truly up to her, she would've let Ethan turn. For Erica vampirism is a blessing but to Sarah is a curse

Idk the s1 finale never really bothered me too much because I assumed that a full fledged vampire sucking the blood of a bite victim would just do nothing. Like it makes more sense that only fledglings could do that without further harming the human. But I get that that’s a big assumption on my part

I think it would be great if (MY BABYSITTER’S A VAMPIRE) show series could get rebooted now. I think in the remake of it, of the First Season of it; Ethan character is being played by a 13 & a half year old actor. The reason why is, this way you can watch, both the actor, and the character Ethan have a birthday turning 14years old. Now I envision the (Benny) character is being played by a 14year old boy actor, and this character is there for his friend’s birthday. I also think that the character Sara, should be played by 15year old actress, and that character hasn’t gotten her drivers license yet. To add I envision (Erica) character, is played by 16years old actress, and Rory character is played by 13year old actor. In addition I envision the (Jessie) character, who’s the evil male vampire, he is played by either a 16year old, or a 17year old boy.
