Firstly certain stereotypes do exist that’s why they’re stereotypes , sometimes certain people or races do act like the stereotypes Secondly when you started talking about Sam and Rex “being black” that was hella racist man , black people aren’t the only ones that act that way or eat fried chicken and they also aren’t the only “urban” race White people act urban , Spanish people act urban , assuming only black people are urban or ghetto has some racist undertones

I'm so glad that you made this video. I always thought that Justin really became kind of mean in season 4 and no one ever seems to talk about it. His character really changed alot from the first season.

Honestly when you don’t see any interracial relationship growing up black it intensifies the feeling of not being liked. There’s so many girls I would be scared to approach cause it felt like they would never like me cause of my skin. Not saying it needs to be wide spread but what did Jade and Beck really have in common? Nothing. Would have been cool to see Andre with her and maybe showcase how talented she was but we know Schneider was trying to make Victorious his new mule smh.

You know with Drake and London I notice that neither have a care about school due to Drake believing he would make it big as a singer and London will alway have her families fortune they might have thought if they didn't make them dumb as rocks kids watching may fall into the same beliefs as their favorite characters instead of I'm to cool for school and won't need it in my life because my talent or family will get me through life but instead saying I'm to dumb my only option is my talent and inheritance

Beck: Ok, talk to daddy. Me: Nope. Not going there. Not gonna make a joke about. Seriously though who wrote that? Was it Schneider? I bet it was Schneider. If it was, he’d do that.

i just rewatched henry danger, victorious, and the thundermans and here r some of the things i've noticed: - henry danger has an ep where they go to a galaxy wars premiere and they were all dressed up as characters - jace norman, who plays henry in henry danger, pops up in thundermans as max's assistant "flunky" - jade from school of rock plays one of henry's love interests in a few episodes - also gia from euphoria is in a thundermans episode playing a champion cup stacker (not crossover related obvi but it's just sum i noticed) - the phones in thundermans don't have the "pear" brand. instead, they're called "mephones" - ray aka captain man from henry danger plays a cop in the cupcake float episode of victorious - goomer from sam and cat appears as himself in henry danger playing frankie grande's assistant - also frankie grande, brother of ariana grande (who plays cat), appears in henry danger and danger force

I like myself a good idiot of a character but i really just.. never really understood these kinds of characters. Just a bit too far into infantilization and abelism to actually be funny outside of a select few moments ig. It doesnt really make sense to me

58:00 it makes sense that Maya is so much more opposed to Lucas riding the bull because she never had a stable home life and the figures and friends she does have are that much more important to her. She rather push them away then have to see them in pain. Meanwhile Riley has parents that support her unconditionally and provide her a loving safe home. She grew up encouraged to going outside her boundaries. Maya grew up with the idea that those you love could leave you at any time. I think trying to paint Maya as ridiculous for thinking the way she does is unfair.

gotta be honest, There's been at least one Kevin at almost every job I've ever had. Where I work currently, there are at least 50 people who can't seem to figure out how to dial a 4 digit code on a keypad when the code is both flashing on the screen above it and printed out in 82pt font, along with fully monosyllabic instructions of what it's for, 1 foot to the left of it. People who are so dumb they naturally make one wonder how they even survive are so commonplace IRL that it's rare to get through a whole day without interacting with at least one such person in my experience, so it's not weird to me that they're both present and a bit over-dramatized on TV.

The first thing I noticed ab Elemental was the fire people, at least the main family, are supposed to be Asian. Respectfully, because its based on the directors life, but denying its about race or has nods towards the issue of racism/ xenophobia is kind of a cop out. The movie overall seemed to jumble other issues along with those like general bigotry, interacial relationships, etc. where it shouldve just focused on one to get the point across to kids.

6:56 so to add my 2 cents before fully watching, the stereotypical stuff that they had for Helen, for me that was just the character and then she just so happened to be black, I never looked at it as oh it’s another stereotypical, black woman. No, I never looked at it like that. It was just this is the character. It fits the location. It fits the dialogue. It’s funny. A black woman just so happened to get the role. That’s how I see it for any shows growing up and even to this day. Idk I just I don’t overthink it. The only time I feel like I’m being forced to overthink it is the fact that companies like Disney are just race swapping all their shows and movies and not actually like producing anything good and new so instead of me just not caring about race and stuff now I feel like I’m being forced to. They’re just like “Look at us! We made Ariel black now, give us brownie points.” I’d rather have had a brand new mermaid princess story that actually wasn’t just a terrible rewrite.

I once thought that these stupid characters were unrealistic exaggerations, to dumb to live and all. Now I know that every one of them must have been inspired by a real idiot - though the real one would likely lack all of the charm and in reality be dumber than the TV counterpart. And there's billions of them.

It's not grooming cause he's not doing anything to encourage her to date him, he's actively discouraging it, if by the time their both adults there's no issue with it. It's certainly odd and would look really really bad but there's nothing actually bad happening

My least favorite part about the autism episode is how they act like it would matter, they've known him for a long time and they're already friends with him why would a diagnoses matter if he's already been that way the whole time. It reinforces treating autistic people differently once you find out, it's a giant pain to always need to convince and remind people that I was autistic before they knew it and will continue to be after, nothing has changed.

I knew this show was terrible! As an autistic person, the episode where it's "discussed" is terrible. They act like it's either a death sentence or a smarty-pants quirk, it's disgusting! Cory Matthews is a terrible teacher; he just teaches shit that only pertains to his dumbass daughter and her friends! He also lets them just interrupt his class by letting them talk! I'm pretty sure classes should be for learning. Also, the show has terrible lessons and acts like obvious toxic behavior and messages that they claim are "valuable teaching lessons," like that pretentious English teacher who gives unnecessary advice to inexperienced kids that can be taken the wrong way, those high school kids that bully freshmen because "they should stick together with their friends," that Spanish teacher who makes Riley study all night and lose sleep to "push her to being better" or that creepy Health Class teacher who tells kids to "stop being pussies about puberty" and gives Riley the unnecessary nickname of "lollipop" *shudders.*
