I hate stickers on video games. Especially stickers on the label. Use this method at your own risk, but in this video I show how I remove stickers and clean Nintendo cartridges. I also compare Goo Gone to Lighter Fluid for removing stickers.

After I finished filming, I used the scotty peeler to remove the label from the Zelda game and it came off much easier than it was in the video. It's possible that I just needed to let it set for 10 minutes or so before trying to remove the sticker.

Idk if i trust lighter fluid but will definitely try it out time i have to clean some games

I pretty much just use it for stickers. For cleaning I use isopropyl alcohol and sometimes Goo Gone

I love cartridges, and I love N64 cartridges because they're so big and heavy and clean up real nice. I just don't like playing them because I hate polygon 3D graphics from that era and the terrible controller. lol

If you're going to remove any type of adhesive, do yourself a favor and just go buy some Un-Du as it's the absolute best. Choose either the yellow or white cap as the silver cap doesn't work.

You can use mayonnaise for the residue, put some of it over the residue and let it break the glue for maybe 5 minutes and it will wipe off easy

Interesting. It'd be kinda fun to see if it works, but I think goo gone is more practical

Best adhesive remover is Un-Du. Nothing beats it and it destroys Goo Gone. Just buy the versions with either the yellow or white cap as the silver cap doesn't work. The silver cap is for California regulations standards.

Personal preference, and I think it's the preference of most people not to have nasty used stickers on their games. Blockbuster stickers I usually leave on
