Cause women think you are more assertive and manly with a beard. You give out a very masculine energy that almost intimidates them. Being clean shaved gives you compliments from women beacuse they don't see you intimidating, but also don't see you as manly. Also most women that don't like beards are not fully matured, they still think like a teen girl. A man that truly grows out a beard, is because they do it for themselves, not for women, not for anybody in general, but for themselves.

It's pretty simple: Men with recessed and narrow jaw + receding chin should absolutely rock a beard because the facial hair is going to give volume to your jaw and chin which will improve the way your face looks by a lot. Men with good forward growth of their jaws and good jawlines overall look way better without facial hair because you're then able to see the angularity of the jawline whereas a beard will hide that.

Yeah every time I try this I regret even though I have a Clark-Kent like jawline. My beard is my beard and the respect I get is in great part thanks to it. All great philosophers had beards.

I see the points of this video. I generally keep a short beard, but workout regularly to where I am not necessarily hiding my Jawline. I have rocked the beard for quite some time now. Definitely shaving my face to give it a try.

I like keeping a light stubble,it's a bit more rugged,I show off my jaw and face and I get no irritation from shaving. Got the best of all. I do dislike big beards though if I had to choose just between a beard and being shaved,I'd go clean shaven but stubble is the perfect option

This video doesn't make sense, you think that all men have a sharp strong jawline and this is your only argument to encourage men to shave while men with strong jawlines are a small percentage, there is no amount of workout that can beat genetics, also, even if you have a strong jaw, it's proven by statistics that women prefer stubble over baby faced, so even if you have a strong jaw, facial hair will add to it

I work in a hot factory plus my girlfriend prefers me clean shaved. Before I met my girlfriend other women said I got a great jawline so they always recommend me not having it.

My dad tells me to shave everyday. In his era, The Rifleman, Tales of Wales Fargo, Gunsmoke. All were clean shaven. My generation started growing out beards as a sign of masculine energy. So I understand both sides of the coins. I might shave here again.

The reason why Modern Men are doing that growing their beard is because they want to look tough and look aggressive and intimidating to other Men around them, others are Hiding their age by growing beard to look like mature or old man but they are actually only 23 or 24yrs heck I'm older than those young men I'm 42 yrs old but a lot of people say that I got a baby face that I look like 21yrs old and that's because I always shave my face regularly. And as a Blue Collar guy I'm a General Contractor/Handyman I want to look Clean, Professional and Respected I've been facing and talking to a lot of clients everyday. And I'm actually much more Approachable by Women than those Men with hot looking beard. I'm not saying that my fellow men should shave it's up to them IF they wanna grow their beard and look intimidating, aggressive and nasty then its their call.

Biologically speaking, It’s just a sexually dimorphic feature and therefore when neatly kept can attract more females, as it projects a matured man. A well kept groomed beard also helps compete inter-sexually, usually the men with better beards tend to get more respect from those that have patchy beards or are clean shaven. Also, clean shaven is an everyday thing and requires lots of maintenance. What is the one thing that make men stand out from women and children? It’s a beard. I think the word “beard” should be replaced with the word “mane”, because that’s exactly what it is. Grow your beards out and maintain them well. Kudos!

"What is the one thing that make men stand out from women and children?" Well, a lot of things. Facial structure/skull, height, muscle mass, wider shoulders and back, smaller hips, adam's apple and so on. You get the idea. It's not about beard. A women with a beard doesn't look manlier.

Get a DE razor, it's gentler on the skin. I have sensitive skin AND thick beard hair. A DE safety razor demolishes my beard hair without hurting my skin.

I have sensitive skin too, and use an Philips Norelco electric trimmer for that reason. It's not smooth, but I buzz it down to stubble.

Clean shaven is more attractive to younger women because a clean shaven man will look more youthful, a stubble will appeal more to older women 25+. Clean shaven is the route to go if you want to attract 18 to 24 year old women.

If your facial hair is gone permanently then what will be the difference between man and woman. Nothing more satisfying than lathering up a premium 50$ soap with a brush, painting on a rich foam, shaving with a quality double edge safety razor with your blade of choice, then applying your favourite aftershave. Its a ritual you'll learn to love, instead of looking like a bum gorilla who doesn't take care of himself and lets his facial hair grow wild
