Havent actually seen the barrel nut on one of these. Assuming it isnt anything too proprietary to the barrel / receiver, but is there any reason a different standard AR handguard cant be swapped in?

Our barrel nut is NOT proprietary. Most any aftermarket AR handguard/barrel nut can be utilized on the UPR15. Some handguards with "indexing/locking tabs" that run either side of the receiver, may need to be "massaged" to fit as our receiver profile is a little wider than a standard receiver. Our UPR10 handguards are the DPMS low profile spec, so they can be swapped out as well.

What is the torque value on the reinstall of the handguard?

Can I use another manufacturers handguard? Such as a Geissele or Daniel defense?

I purchased a 16 inch 223 wylde upr 15 upper a while back. Came with a 10 inch handguard. I see now you offer a 15 inch handguard on your 16 inch upr15s. I would like to swap my 10 inch for a 15 inch. Do you sell the handguards separately?
