I don’t think there’s words to tell people how much I love this song. I didn’t want it to end. It’s like that for a shit load of Rens songs. Y’all should know that your gifts are incredible. I know Ren suffered a lot to get to where he’s at. It has to be worth it all. For Ren to not feel loved though I just don’t see how because he has my love and I don’t even know him. There’s few singers that touch me in this unexplainable way. I would melt in your presence and be lost in the ecstasy of your voice.

I think I enjoy those kind of things most of all. I stopped allowing music to move me or provoke any form of emotion, be it happy, moody, enraged, or suicidal. I didn't want to give big labels, spitting out manufactured tracks for manufactured stats. Making music to appease the consumers, to inflate the sales of musical producers. Then I met YOU. REN, you are everything, "they" are not. An authentic man, whose built a community, for the community. Thanks for cracking some of my walls, it's helped relieved some of my pressure. I have an incurable liver disease and instead of doing scary treatments to prolong life, I’ve been letting it slowly kill me due to fear and depression. This song inspired me to “focus on my power.” I’ll never be totally healed, but I have the power to at least slow down its progression. After hearing this song, it inspired me to call my doctor and schedule my treatments. Definitely will be blasting this song on my way. Thank you Ren ♥️ 🎵

My daughter has a chronic disease that will be fatal at some point. Its hard not to feel defeated when our bodies don't work the way they should. Good on you to move forward with treatment. Make a ren Playlist and rock on! Have you checked out chinchilla? She has a rocking song called little girl gone. Video has violence but the message of power is impressive. My health is a wreck too (neurological disease and pancreas and liver problems) and I have been feeling like life has kicked the chit out of me for the last couple of years without a moments break. I am ok with the end drawing near but felt I lost the fire that makes life worth living for a while until just a few weeks ago. Some switch hit out of the blue and I felt it catch again and by chance stumbled into Ren's music right about that same time. It was cosmic synchronicity and I felt like I made a friend who understood just how I feel through his own experience with it all. So, I so relate to your post and how you spoke about this song and how it moves you. Kindred spirits all around and a connection through this music that is what life is all about, IMO. "Focus on your POWER" girl and make the best of what time we have left in this crazy existence. Take that little gift and run with it because you can live more in that time period than most do in their entire lifetime if your mind focuses on that power you have within. @@wcoasttiggerYes it is very easy to feel like hell when your own body fails and betrays you and you feel fate has dealt you a chit hand. I have always taken the road less traveled in life and paid in kind but this hit me when I was at my peak best and wiped me out 110% as people all around me just added to it by getting their own kicks in. I had never been taken so low and didn't think I would begin to feel like getting back up from it for a very long while. Just preferring to sadistically punish my own self and becoming a true glutton for punishment by my own hand. I don't know what caused the change because it came out of nowhere beginning from a series of dreams. Something was ignited within my soul and now I feel mentally ready and even hungry for round two even though my body is still disintegrating before my very eyes. Music has always played a huge part in my life and it has been a big part of this change too. I have stumbled into a few new artists that have really grabbed me lately but this artist here is something really special. His music is like ointment for the soul and it gives you the energy to carry on and desire to strive or live on. I hope your daughter finds something to give her that special encouragement to keep pushing even when the whole world seems to be pounding on you without remorse. That will be important in her struggles and it helps to have that inner strength that is inspired by music, art, and self expression. Having that is crucial to getting through the dark chapters and painful nights when you cannot sleep or find peace of mind because of the affliction you suffer from. Best wishes to you and to your daughter as well. I hope your days together are full of those special moments and memories that make it all worth the struggle we face here in this world. My husband struggles with some mental health issues and since I found you I have been showing him your songs as I knew they would connect with him and finally help him put words to what goes on inside his head. He is autistic and has a hard time communicating but these songs have opened him up in a new way. Not to mention the impa lct they have had on me. Some people are as timeless and ageless as truly good music is divine. They have an aging body but the mind is as full of fire and life as if they were a teenager their whole life. I think this magical music is a magnet for people like that because Ren is that way himself. Birds of a feather flock together and we tend to attract others like ourselves by our very nature.

I'm not even someone who listens to rap (uh, *didn't* listen to rap before I found your stuff), but of all the mind-blowing music you've brought to us, THIS is the song I listen to over and over and over. Amazingly enough, I don't feel like I'd say it's even my favourite Ren track, but the mood of it lifts me up and carries me along and leaves me with an increased ability to face shit for a bit. I'm 52 and turned my son onto Ren & Marlon Craft. Marlon was my favorite artist last year according to my Spotify, and his song Greaful was my most listened to song. I'm sure Ren will take the top spot this year, with Power being the most listened to song. Seems some of us old folks have great taste in music after all! Lol. As does Ren. I flipped out when he referenced Django Reinhardt in another one of his songs! That's way before my time! I'd love to see Ren collaborate with Marlon Craft as they both have that certain something.
