They only got here on a ship a month or two ago, it's an all-new model with plenty of stock now available across the country. It starts from $29K which isn't far off the CX-3, and is about the same looking at COVID pricing. The 1.3 4cyl turbo from Renault is what I drive and it's excellent, feeling more responsive than the naturally aspirated 2.5 4cyl from Mazda.

$29K for the Life model. Demo Zen model with push button start and the two-level centre console is around $32K.

@@Snip59 base model CX-3 is around $27-28K for a demo at this time. The Captur has more inclusions such as LED headlamps as standard. Your point is?

With COVID demand and a lack of supply over at other brands, the Captur with a bit of haggling comes down to about the price of a CX-3. I drive a Renault Kadjar here in Australia with the exact same drivetrain, and the dual clutch is very good. It's a wet dual clutch design which doesn't have the issues of previous dry variants.

For me I don’t want to drive a DCT as it forces you to change your driving style in crawling traffic, it uses 95 RON, the fusebox is in the glovebox and finally Renault are now through a distributor not factory direct… so support and parts are a concern. Nice as it is… and it is nice, in Australia it’s just NQR… in Europe it would be fine.
